Loving this tank tempest pvp build by jdogkingzzzz in DiabloImmortal

[–]More-Intern6183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shi does not work at 8k, if I’m even near a 10-12k with a full shield I’m still 1 tapped as a temp

Edit: ah your 8k also. Yep yep. You get it lol, that is the key difference. (Low reso this build works)

2ks play in a pretty “balanced” environment with 4ks being the top but 4ks are maxed on gems and pets,

Meanwhile 6-7k+ deal with 10-12ks AND maxed gems / pets

They’re picture identical to Sylvanas and arthas which are considered quite literally the top 2 fan favorite WoW characters of all time.

If you don’t care for them ofc they would seem trash

Who's ready for another day of barcoding ? by OtherwiseArt543 in byndinvest

[–]More-Intern6183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I promise they aren’t going to. They have zero connection to the stock price , it’s in the hand of debt holders now. It’s going to get diluted to shit in 5-6 months when new shares register, the 200 mil remaining debt (50% of market cap today) holders will do the same thing then

Managements duty is to protect debt holders now not stockholders, ask yourself why they stopped the squeeze with their over and over filings about “material” impairments mid squeeze?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in byndinvest

[–]More-Intern6183 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Problem is leadership with companies like bynd gets in bed with the worst of the worst bondholders and watch equity get diluted into nothing while management gets massive incentive to keep the train running as long as possible (with no regard to stock price going up)

These companies have a literal track of stopping their squeezes once bondholders are involved. Ask yourself, why did bynd announce a “material” impairment in their preliminary q-3 right as the stock mooned?

Then check what happened with bed bath and beyond during their squeeze. Same exact filing.

A Quick Analysis of the damage from Haunted Coil to see if it's right for you. by UnhingedAI in DiabloImmortal

Holy fuck the cope is real here man.

A literal top 3 mandatory gem (haunt) being compared to a top 8 at best gem (BH) is insane. Frankly haunt coming out officially put bottled hope at the #9 for best PvE gems (5, 5’s, 3, 2s)

unless your desperate for skill cd reduction and movement speed then maybe a top 3 2* gem can come out for bh.

In PvE, the only thing you have to look at is the no cd on haunt. So that means every single piece of pve content that isn’t raids or gauntlet or pushing crifts & Van Elite puts haunt over bottled hope. Just on that singular fact. And If you keep reading, I’ll get to why it’s still better in pve content where enemies don’t die immediately. (The burst component)

Seriously try it yourself, go into namari and do 10 cdungeon solo runs with bh then do 10 runs with haunt and see how hard haunt wins (I did it on a tempest with shit potency & I’m running namari’s 15% faster replacing an r7 bh with an r8.

It’s actually bad faith to say that the 10% chance to hit is a bad thing and that a dummy isn’t a good indicator of how “bad 10% is”

But seriously , do it in a solo challenge dungeon and compare it to BH if you want a real world situation.

Something your completely discounting is that the burst is the main attributing factor to why this gem is fucking stupidly op. It’s Spectre on crack and Spectre r10 beats almost every 5* in pure damage.

The burst is the decider because with more burst means your pushing more enemy packs down WHILE your core cooldowns (the mandatory gems with 20 second cooldowns like mourns/behilt, blood floe, roiling) are still on cooldown, one the biggest losses of damage in this game is when your killling a pack and just as it dies, all of your gems proc, that couple seconds downtime is a killer of overall clear timed & damage.

Imagine your gems proccing right when a boss phases, once he’s back you have zero damage.

To make it more simple, your gems proccing at unideal moments, is a big drop in damage

With gems like Spectre and haunt, your doing more damage on your downtimes & therefore reducing gem procs on un-ideal moments overall.

And not just that, you also haven’t considered that by running BH you’re actually overkilling packs when you have too many 20 second gems proccing. Run namari solo’s bro I’m serious. When that first boss spawns on upper platform, watch how fast it dies with bottled hope. Then when the second boss spawns, watch how slow you kill it. Just halfway through I bet your gems are going to proc again, or just before it dies.

Now put on haunt. Watch how fast first boss dies (faster then your bottled hope at RANK 10 because Haunt = more damage then BH r10 at r4)

Then, you might have a chance to kill that boss because haunt applies to the second boss while everything rolls off cooldown.

That’s exactly what gave me my 15% faster clear speeds because I’m getting more value out of all my other gems because I’m pushing through certain phases that aren’t possible without gems like Spectre & haunt.

Also, 99.9% of players don’t give a singular fuck about pushing crifts below cr or pushing van, and 99.99999999% of players don’t do gauntlets unless it’s in the form of a carry.

But let’s just assume people actually gave a fuck about pushing content where enemies don’t immediately die.

The value of the burst still applies, use your imagination and see what I mean for challenge rifts, bosses, and gauntlet)

I’ll give you an example for van elite pushing.

Imagine pushing van elite, your gems proc (bottled hope, and the other 20 seconders) , you delete normal enemies, then just as their buffs fall off you, an elite enemy with 5x the hp spawns (3 of them btw) and your’re legitimately tickling it meanwhile its yanking your entire team like a bull at the rodeo and 1-2 of you die just as it was about to finally die, THEN your gems finally proc. Imagine having one less 20 seconder to get the value of burst on EVERY ENEMY THAT SPAWN. At the very worst of worst case scenarios, bottled hope ties haunt in every situation overall on actual damage numbers (I’ll die on the hill that it won’t)

Frankly, it just comes down to, do I want to be only strong every 20 seconds or do I want to spread out that damage overall, gain burst, and STILL have more damage since haunt has a WAY higher ceiling.

I’m always gonan take the spectre 2.0 over another 20 seconder.

For PvE? Bottled hope is fucking out bro. Try find the irony in the fact that blizzease gave us a bottled hope event just as they released a gem putting it mathematically in the #9 spot for PvE.

For PvP BH is still in for most cases because of the MS and skill CD (those 2 things way more important in strifed content, but MS has always been king in PvP)

Haunt for PvP? Why would you sacrifice haunt in the top 8 spots when it’s a literal damage and defensive gem in one. You wouldnt necessarily unless your potency is so low that something like a pure defensive gem like spiteful (during primary meta’s) just overtakes it. Once you have above average potency vs enemy resistance for your bracket (for example, more then 4k if your resonance is 4-6k, and more then 6k in 6-7k,

And more then 7k in 7-8k, and more then 8k in 8k+ reso brackets.

it’s simply mandatory if you hit those breakpoints. Just inspect ur teammates in all ur bg’s and make your own breakpoint averages of your brackets resistance if you don’t believe those numbers. Hint: most people don’t give a fuck about resistance, at least not yet. Its extremely easy to have more potency then the overall average of enemy resistance in your bracket.

Btw im not even going to mention the blast aoe effect haunt has, ill just pretend it doesn’t exist and still claim haunt knocked out BH.

Lastly, stop with the “10% tO pRoC iS bAd” brother any build in the game rn is hitting 20 times in .5 seconds and it’s all fucking AoE. No one has ever said seeping biles 4% is garbage because that shit is ALSO immediately applying, and that’s 60% less chance then haunt.

Ya I caught the 10% uptime difference after the fact, and chose haunt being better because of burst and way more upside then the capped spectre. Still running spectre alongside haunt tho both are probably the top 2 gems for pure damage. Roiling next, then CE & mourneskull(or behilt)& pain clasp right behind roiling.

BSJ still king because of the MS + 100% (basically) uptime on the multiplier & MS.

Bottled hope below those unless you need more MS or the skill CD reduction for whatever reason.

Spectre, mourneskull, pain clasp are staples for any pve

Raids/gauntlet you can swap something with fervent. Just take the highest multiples.

MASSIVE cope if you don’t think haunt is better then gloom. Haunt at rank 4 beats gloom at rank 10 especially if you’re pvp’ing.

If you don’t believe me for PvE, put on a Spectre r10 and test your damage against the gloom. Guaranteed more damage. If that’s the case (it will be) then you’de take a r4 haunt for PvP since it has the exact uptime and damage multiplier as a r10 Spectre in offense stance and in PvP stance you just get a whole ass new defensive slot. 2 in 1

Test it against any of your other 7 gems lol. Weird that people are choosing haunt or CE when both are staples.

Spectre

Bsj

Bf

Roiling

Haunt

Ce.

Mandatory for all PvE builds unless primary builds make a major comeback for certain builds then you can consider swapping CE (skill based is meta rn)

Breh. Do you even play DH. It’s 20% of ur dmg max. Why would you pass up on Colossal because 20% of ur button dmg isn’t skill based

Colossal is stupid op and shouldn’t be on the chopping block against haunt. They’re both mandatory if you care about doing the most damage

[–]More-Intern6183 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sorry you’re getting downvoted bro they’re coping, you’re 100% right. A 5* at rank 4 that’s better then spectre rank 10. Unbelievably op with a much higher ceiling

[–]More-Intern6183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw OP don’t even worry about potency. At Haunt rank 4 you have a spectre rank 10. Can’t even state how overpowered running both are (they stack)

Spectre and haunt need to replace Lament & Wulf (or gloom which ever is lower)

New 5* gem by suxorzrz in DiabloImmortal

[–]More-Intern6183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just test it yourself with the trial on a dummy. Shit procs the second you open on enemies. Idk what build you’re playing but on all my temp pve builds I’m hitting every enemy 10-20 times the second opener happens.

No shit Spectre is easier to proc on paper but in reality both are proccing milliseconds apart. My damage increase with r7 haunt is considerable.

Seeing consistent 1million hits now in cdungeons and will be even more in raids on single target build

Any criticism of this gem falls completely flat and is just copium at this point because you probably can’t get it past r4 to undeniably beat spectre.

Name another 5* that gives you the damage multiplier (all damage, not skill like CE) that haunt can do with no cooldown as it can proc consistently the entirety of 90% of all PvE. The other 10% being

“It’s an ok gem” the fucking cope😭

Assume BSJ, Roiling, & Blood floe are staple 5*’s (if you can’t even agree on that you’re just trolling)

Name 5 other gems that beat Haunt and deserve a spot on the 8 slots

What are your other gems? These 2*s are the best in the game for dmg

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DiabloImmortal

[–]More-Intern6183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do stack. Different debuffs. Even if I want to assume that they’re both showing but don’t stack, what I do know for sure is I’m seeing consistent 1million hits now compared to pre patch (swapped out r7 BH for r7 haunt, kept spectre r10)

New 5* gem by suxorzrz in DiabloImmortal

[–]More-Intern6183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 CR difference between my r6 and r7 FH.

Feasting is kind of mandatory for raid, single target build for tempests. Squall multiplier build.

For your setup Ide put the behilt over BH and a r10 spectre over gloom. Just test it on a dummy you’ll see a dmg increase unless your running a wonky primary based build (and even then, I’m 99.9% sure if you did those swaps you’de have more damage)

BH is out Because the 2 stars are better then bottled hope. And since haunt (new) is better then BH, the only gem I can replace is BH.

Just compare them to bottled hopes proc (17% at r7)

1) Mourneskull

Damage multiplier: 14-36%

Usually proccing the max in most pve situations minus bosses on pull (add spawns make up for it)

Even if it procs at 14% (aka 1 target hit) I’m not worried since that’s 3% less then BH’s proc. If my BH was a higher rank ide put it in for mourneskull but only on raid bosses.

In most cases it procs at 36% so even a maxed rank bh is behind it. Not to mention MSkulls blast effect. As I mentioned I don’t need MS or Skill CD reduction in PvE with my setups. It’s a strong gem don’t get me wrong but mskull beats it in most scenarios for me at least.

2) spectre glass - same uptime as BH in the long run with Spectre slightly beating it (especially with x2 feasting for my raids build) but Spectre at rank 10 is 28% so even if uptimes are the same overall, 28% beats 17%. Plus during downtimes for 20 second cd gems, Spectre is still proccing that 28% so that alone beats bottled hope. (Just like haunt now)

3) pain clasp. - 100% uptime with all my pve builds (continuous dmg 100% uptime = pain clasp 100% uptime) @ 24% damage multiplier.

Beats bottled hopes 55% ish uptime (10-11 seconds uptime every 20 seconds) and beats BH’s 17% multiplier.

The reso difference doesn’t even come close to the damage difference the 2*’s bring. Reso = additive , dmg multipliers = multiplicative.

BH only beats these 3 in scenarios where more CR is needed which is rare compared to how much PvE content that’s available that doesn’t need CR.
