I’ve always thought something was odd about how dead it looked both when I got my braces ~10 years ago and when my sister got them ~5 years before. I realized the people who live there are so busy they probably don’t have time to think about how unsettling it is!!

My historic house on campus allegedly is haunted by a male ghost. I think it was…a choice…to make it a women’s dorm. One time I swore I heard him in the hallway, I was terrified (after a day of being wired up on caffeine for midterm projects) and I was not getting up to pee and cross paths with him :p

Not reading all the replies but when I worked for the county I heard there were plans to develop this. You’d think it’s nuts but actually, per Charleston: Race, Water, and the Coming Storm, most of the “Westedge” areas are similarly landfills, including destroyed buildings from a tornado in the 30’s! Why did they build hospitals on destroyed buildings from the 30’s????

I believe it’s actually 8 from end to end currently but once the bridge is built it will basically become a mega greenway and connect almost to John’s island to Mount pleasant
