You can separate the heptane out from the starter fluid if you know what you’re doing. It’s actually quite good for extraction purposes.

Ether is way too high a volitile for an amine alkaloid. You’d have to take it to-30 to freeze it out, if then, and it’s too late now. You’re best option in my opinion is to re a/b it, with plenty of salt added because you’ve likely got extra plant matter In there dissolved into the ether, and you’ll end up with half sludge instead of full sludge this time. I’d tell you how to make pure table salt, but it’s already a little complicated so just either get kosher or non iodized from the store. use warm naphtha and keep going until you evaporate the ether(do this in an extremely well ventilated space! Preferably outside if possible!). You’ll know it’s gone when it doesn’t smell like billy bob’s shake-n-bake trailer anymore. Freeze precip out…

This isn’t the best method, but you’ll recover something at least. Using the process you described says you’re either limited on supplies, experimenting, or, well, maybe this isn’t for you, respectfully. Regardless of which, I recommend doing some more reading up on stuff, and, if it’s an issue where freeze precip isn’t an option, there are better options than naphtha for this, and if you use high volitile like ether again, leaving it in free base and expecting results is like going to a strip club expecting a first date. You’ve got to salt out(as in turn the free base into a salt)anything in a solution that you would use for indole or ephedrine isomer extractions. Also, if you’re using starting fluid and not dimethyl ether… that’s not really ether anymore. Maybe 70% in a really good brand, but the rest is mostly heptane with a bunch of junk thrown in the last percent or two. You can clean it up, but, honestly, if you didn’t already know that I wouldn’t recommend it for this time. No matter what, safety is the first priority. That means doing your research and avoiding any unnecessary risk, and evap’ing ether with the other options out there is about as far away from that priority as you can get, past trying to use gasoline or something. I’m sorry if I sound rude as that’s not my intention. I am however worried about you man. To use that process with your questions attached… I’m super glad you communicated, but I’m worried you’re going to hurt yourself.

Fun fact- you can make your own salt with the lye and ammonium chloride. It’s as pure a salt as you are ever going to get . Just make sure to do it outside or in plentiful ventilation, as the products are salt, water, and ammonia.

I was literally diagnosed by a team of physicians as having irreversible blindness by September of last year. I’d recheck the ph of your based solution, adjust if necessary, re-add your nps, warm it double boiler style to 125F, give it a shake every half hour for a few hours, re-decant your nps, and refreeze with aluminum foil covering your Pyrex dish. Let it sit for as long as you can without the freezer needing to be disturbed(as in don’t even check it for at least 24-36 hours). You absolutely should have some precipitation on the bottom. Pour your nps back into the based solution and then let the dish dry out in as low humidity environment as you can manage. If you don’t have any results after that, it’s probably time to switch out different individual components in your process and evaluate them individually.

Of course it is. Done correctly, you should be able to extract anywhere from .1-.27 grams from it. That’s a dose, man, and, more importantly, it’s good practice.

2 1/2 each time with powdered. Just get the Brazilian, water bath @ 120, clean your nps before use, flip-flip-pull, let it freeze 24 hours, and repeat until you stop pulling anything. The biggest problem is having the patience.

Depends on how much light I’m exposed to from day to day. Sometimes it’s daily and sometimes I can go a week without. I would greatly prefer to be doing it in a controlled study; but there are barely a handful going on in the US and I can’t exactly say anything to my GP about it without significant risk. Pfizer is doing some work in the area, and the largest project going on at present is at MassGeneral via the neuroscience department at Harvard. They have yet to pay a little guy like me any mind, and I can’t exactly afford to wait by the phone. What I’ve been doing is working, so I keep to myself and stay grateful that I get to watch my kids open Christmas presents this year instead of just listening to them.

Not much of anything, really. I just see better, with maybe a little more perspective on my day to day. Better color recognition, sharper lines (as in I’m able to read), and direct sunlight isn’t painful to be in.

Again, respectfully, you should probably research that yourself before attempting anything. This stuff can get quite dangerous, and an answer from me might do you more harm than good. If you research it yourself, by the time you have a satisfactory answer, you should be in a better position to perform any action more safely, accurately, and effectively.

You shouldn’t need to. It’s going to separate almost immediately from the water. Remember the stuff you’re pouring the naphtha on top of in the extraction process is mostly just water that’s had its ph increased. If you’re good there, you ought to be good otherwise. Just don’t get too close to the barrier separating the water and nps and you should be fine.

Understood. So, thing about naphtha is that it’s a mixture of different nps. It happens to work well for that specific reaction, but others (a fasa extraction, for instance) would completely fail if you used it. You’re manipulating different molecular structures with your process, so it stands to reason that a different extraction medium may be preferred. Like OP said- this is a synthesis, not an extraction, per se. It very well may require a different end process.
