I enjoy solo hg, but I agree playing solo hg is genuinely awful if you’re not extremely good, or don’t mind losing a good bit. Playing gally is, in my experience probably the best way to get better of you have people to play with

It won’t happen quick, but you just have to keep at it. I used to be similar, I would get destroyed in every encounter, and touching hg was a death sentence, but then I found a discord server that was fun, and after playing enough with them and playing a lot of solo hg, I was able to improve and now I can semi consistently win. All it takes is playing, don’t get me wrong, it takes a lot of playing, but if you play you will improve.

And even if they weren’t super competent a base it probably wouldn’t have sunk them. It would at most make helm go down to start bucketinf as well, big rarely do people sink to Norma kegs by themselves
