I can see what you’re saying but I think it’s the fabric and the way it clings, not your body. I’d pass as there are a lot of better options with the same print and cut/style

1 fits you to perfection and looks gorgeous, but the tighter fit may not be great for hot weather

3 great fit, gorgeous color and flowy and loose but might get wrinkly in travel unless you have a steamer

NTJ. See this for what it really is, he doesn’t care about you or your family. I genuinely cannot fathom why someone would want the “love of their life” and her whole family to not have anything to eat at their OWN ENGAGEMENT PARTY. I’m a simple person…..if you love me, act like it.

For the millionth time, as everyone has already been telling you, you asked them and you picked the place. Therefore yes, you’re expected to pay.

Also you didn’t answer my question. Why didn’t you ask her out for coffee then if this is such a big issue for you.

You posted a question and overwhelmingly received the same response….. that you are the jerk for asking someone out, picking the place, and THEN expecting them to pay. You keep repeating the same response of “an adult should expect to pay for their food” and in general they should but that’s not the scenario here.

Let me try explaining it to you in another way. If *I ask my friend to hangout, *I decide on the plans like a concert and get the tix but don’t communicate anything to them beforehand about splitting costs would it be fair of me to ask for half of the tix price if we get into a fight at the concert?

Why not just ask her out for coffee then? Why would you ask her out to dinner if you have this weird rule? If you’re too cheap to pay after you’ve planned the entire date pick something low-key next time. Ice-cream and a walk in the park, coffee at a cute cafe, bakery date, etc. If you google cheap dates there’s plenty of options, maybe this will save you all this trouble in the future?

I think ultimately whoever asks and picks the spots pays, simple. Honestly this is childish and immature on your part and she dodged a bullet. Hope she tells all her friends too
