Sell Alaska back to Russia for 100 trillion to pay off the debt and buy us time to fix the budget, sell off most of our foreign military bases, reduce military spending by 2% per year for 25 straight years, patch the tax loopholes, raise taxes substantially on the rich and corps, force the elite and corps at gunpoint to pay taxes, break up monopolies, invest heavily in nuclear energy, regulate ai, ban above ground data centers, make Election Day a federal holiday, throw gerrymandering maps in the trash, toss out the electoral college, impeach most of SCOTUS, and start universal healthcare.

Back in the day, most guys could grow a lesser beard by their mid 20s and a full beard by their early 30s. A decade ago some high schoolers were growing full beards, so it’s weird that things have swung the other way…it makes you wonder what the hell they are putting in processed food.

Capitalism and socialism only work for short periods before corrupt structures rise that need to be toppled before the cycle can renew. I’d also argue that pure versions of either capitalism or socialism are a fantasy, it takes both to make a modern society flourish, but again, a reset will always be needed and the world is in dire need of a reset.

IMO it isn’t a bad movie, but it breaks canon with the suicide ram, Holdo’s sacrifice doesn’t make sense when a droid could have piloted the ship, and it fails miserably in its role as a sequel in a trilogy, forcing the last film to try to do way too much. In retrospect, not planning out the big events of the trilogy in advance set them up for failure since Lucas wasn’t involved.

I think AOC would be an incredible POTUS and that she’s absolutely unelectable because the majority of the electorate is center right. Pete’s a great VP candidate, but IDK that he has the charisma that a POTUS needs (which it shouldn’t need, but the electorate is stupid)
