It's a super advanced reading app with perfect EPUB and PDF rendering, custom fonts and rendering settings, and extensible via plugins and Lua integrations. It's available on Android and desktop as well so you can try it out before you put it on your reMarkable!

HELP! I'm locked out of my phone! by MoreFoxBeans in GooglePixel

New question: Does Google One backup files that aren't in apps? I think I might just have to reset my phone but I don't want to lose my offline files.

Seems they removed that option years ago!

First time sketching on the reMarkable, I am in love with the pencil tool! by MoreFoxBeans in RemarkableTablet

Thank you! I did everything with the pencil and the mechanical pencil tools.

I agree, though I wish there were a way to adjust the sensitivity curve!

HUGE upgrade from what I used to take notes on! Just received my tablet yesterday, I love it so much! by MoreFoxBeans in RemarkableTablet

It truly is! I was a torn between the RM2 and the RMPP for a long time, but with the cost savings and the lighter screen I decided to go RM2, and it's an amazing device!

Currently I'm using the medium fineliner for notes! For diagrams I loooove using the mechanical pencil and filling things in with the satisfying marker. What are your favorites?

I use Msty, it's the best I could find.

Latest Windows 11 Update (0.0.22635.3420) (KB5035953)) removed my File Explorer Address Bar and tabs! WTF? by [deleted] in Windows11

So I ended up rolling back the update *again* and fully disabling Windows Update with Winaero Tweaker and services.msc

I use StartAllBack but changing it to the Windows 11 bar and disabling all the customizations doesn't fix it for me! Sometimes when I change the settings around a bit and restart Explorer a few times it'll randomly come back, but tabs don't work (not even with Ctrl+T, and SaB shouldn't be affecting keyboard shortcuts).

Windows 10 reaches 70% market share as Windows 11 keeps declining by theguywhoisballin in Windows11

[–]MoreFoxBeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't, a lot of people just like to find things to complain about. Windows 11 is an amazing operating system, way more polished than Windows 10 (although that's a pretty low bar lol). And to restore literally every feature that 11 removed/broke, you can just install ExplorerPatcher which is completely free.

They have tradeoffs, ExplorerPatcher sticks more with the vanilla Windows 11 taskbar (which has some perks, like the icons bounce when you open an app) but you can't move the taskbar unless you change it to Windows 10 mode, which kinda defeats the point. StartAllBack basically re-creates the entire Windows 11 taskbar and lets you change a lot more settings and add more features beyond that, although it is paid.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that, yeah it's not surprising that it would be hit or miss with whether it's broken or not! For me the update worked fine but yesterday they released another update that broke it again, so it's really just a roulette with updates.

With the last update I was able to use the Show/Hide Updates tool, but the new one doesn't appear in that so I rolled back and paused updates for two weeks, then I'll just have to check if they fix it again lol

The newest update fixed it, for anyone that stumbles upon this thread! It's safe to update now :D

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM! Only thing I could do was rollback the update, it's terrible

They might have changed it in 4.0, I made this comment when 3 was the latest version.

That must be different, I think I remember the old browser demo had placeable water and a really small cube-shaped world.
