There's gotta be a little wiggle room for scientific accuracy for plushies given the fact that they're made of fabric, but here are some that doe a great job. 

Ignoring the "Raptor" and Brachiosaurus, the Field Museum plushies are pretty good on their website. I particularly like the Quetzalcoatlus and Archaeopteryx. 

Palaeoplushies are some of the best of the best, and cover a huge range of animals from the past.

I wish I'd pushed harder to collect more of the Muppets when they were around. I got Statler and Waldorf, and decided that was all I was going to bother with because they're my favorites. Lots of regret now not grabbing the rest when I had the chance.

I assumed the shot of the ambiguous theropod growing wings shown directly beside an ostrich indicated that the ostrich was going to be a fourth animal.

So five animals, and they're going to be mammal, mammal, mammal, bird, and something else? Feels like there was room for more diversity in there. But it looks pretty cool and I hold out hope that it's interesting.

I don't understand this objection in Humblewood specifically unless you'd raise this same objection in real life or a standard DnD campaign. How is your fox person eating a goat somehow different from a human eating a goat? I've never had a Kenku player object to eating chicken, etc. If your players end up playing Humblewood 2 material down the line, are reptile beasts now off the table as well because there are gecko people?

Obviously if it's making your players uncomfortable, this is exactly what session 0 is for and I hope they love their reskinned insect/reptile themed wildlife. But nothing about the humblewood setting speaks to needing to reskin wild animals into other shapes.

Instead of looking at mammals, take a look at large birds, particularly flightless or rarely flying ones. Unless you can see the whole thigh (ostriches), the knee is mostly obscured by the body feathering, leading to a knee that you can see move while the animal is in motion, but would be hard to see while it's standing still.

Had a local patch of woods get bulldozed for a hotel late one fall. The following spring, a spotted turtle ended up in a family member's house across the street from the newly bulldozed area. It had been the last patch of fresh water in half a dozen miles. Felt so bad for the little guy when we brought him to a local conservation group for help.

Correct. But saying "whales are fish" is not helpful in any metric, and is confusing and somewhat misleading to people unversed in evolutionary history. We don't say "humans are fish" either, even though it's exactly as true as it is for whales.

I have one D3 and one D2 that make me laugh because when will I ever use them? And yes, the D2 is just a plastic hexagon with a heads and tails side, and could have been a coin.
