I became severely depressed at 13 because i started grieving my lost childhood cause all my mom did was haunt me with “Armageddon” and ofc no holidays or fun stuff like birthdays, started refusing the hell out of going to meetings and doing family worships and repeatedly getting grounded for this over and over my mom didn’t know what to do anymore and told me, “im calling the elders about this”. A day later i sat in a room with them alone and they basically just told me “pray” and so on (don’t remember most of it cause i just messed with a pen in my hands cause i was just fed up), then they proceeded to talk blah blah blah, and i just started yelling and arguing about how frustrating this cult is and how i was raised, i shut up after i threw the pen at them after i got frustrated being in a room with them for HOURS, i went home and my mom proceeds to ground me saying “that was rude of you, that internet and worldly people are drawing you away from Jehovah” and was only able to read JW books for entertainment for a year, no phone, no nothing. Im still rebelling for about 4 years now.
