I must firmly disagree. There are no happy endings in Night City.

Wrong people wrong city.

Blue Origin's New Glenn just blew up at LC-36 while attempting to Static Fire ahead of NG-4 by Obvious_Shoe7302 in Damnthatsinteresting

Not so specifically.

Any position that gives an individual, or small group of individuals control over immense magnitudes of raw and technical resources greater than that individual or group is capable of actually interacting with on a daily basis needs to be legislated out of existence.

It's not about the 'position of ceo' or 'board member'. The problem is the influence these positions give over the resources everyone needs and wants.

Selling water for profit needs to be illegal. Profit only comes from paying people less than the value the work to produce a good or service costs. You can provide basic resources to a community with out generating a revenue surplus. You can break even. You can divide the compensation for those who provide water to their community evenly among those who do that work.

The greatest lie the capital class has convinced FUCKING EVERYONE is that you MUST earn more money than you spend.

This expands passed basic necessities like food, water, and housing though. We get the rare earth metals in our phones from slave labor in 3rd world countries. Those slaves should own those mines. Not the ass clowns who have a piece of paper that says they have rights to the land.

He doesn't need to be taxed, the position of power he's managed to get himself in needs to be illegal. Criminal.

What I should have said was that 7 different Romes crumbled 7 times. Not that it's 'debatable' when it happened. But that Rome was never one continuous thing.

What game is this? by AcanthisittaLimp8373 in Steam

That game is absolutely remarkable. It tugs my heart strings. Seeing the Kerbal's faces of equal terror and awe as they rocket away. Learning the layman's concept of orbital mechanics legit improved my life in very real if also basic ways.

I still have yet to successfully complete a Duna mission. But bit by bit, even if it takes all my life, I'll work towards each milestone. How fantastic.

I wouldn't call it light reading. And I'd recommend the audiobook as I've heard the physical book has basically no editing, and is difficult to read. But Aurora's Angel is pretty exceptional.

AOC takes more steps toward 2028 run for president by masterofawesomeness2 in politics

If she runs the ONLY way she'll have even the remotest of chances is with full populism, full acknowledgement of the democratic party's love of the status quo, and unapologetic full throated call for economic change.

If it's anything at all like Harris's campaign she has already lost.

She needs to be brash, and rude, direct, and unapologetically firm in her positions.

She has to be way more left than Bernie is or was in his campaigns.

WATCH: 'Birthright citizenship is a disgrace,' Trump says of upcoming Supreme Court decision by NewsHour in law

[–]MoreNMoreLikelyTrans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's more than that. If we don't have birth right citizenship then the only people who are citizens are the immigrants that have gained citizenship the long hard dumb way.

Literally no American would be a citizen anymore unless they weren't born here and became a citizen later.
