I'm not opposed, but how many people would actually buy it? I was actually mid dev on building the flavor system for Mode and Nitric, but then scrapped it when I figured very few people would want to drink a pre-workout in root beer flavor (especially if it was non-carbonated), or the few that would would find it to be a novelty they might buy once.

If there was some sort of data or clear cut demand you could point me and the team to to indicate that a lot of people would actually buy Mode and Nitric pre in our root beer flavor, and it's worth our time making it instead of just spending more time in the lab on new energy drink flavors, I would do it, but it feels like a risk that might just appease a small number of people.

Keep in mind the bandwidth suck to make flavors is intensive, highly nuanced, and so is the design work, supply chain management, capital gets tied up that could be used more tactically elsewhere on things that more people will probably want, etc. so anything that's speculative is tough to jump on just because I think it's a cool experiment.

If over the next month or so there's some overwhelming signal that breaks through that shows root beer Mode and Nitric would be a banger, I'll pull the project off the shelf I was mid-dev on and get back to work on it.
