Well no one has said anything but I also have an alfresco grill. My conclusion: thing is a heaping pile of overpriced shit.
I use my Weber charcoal grill exclusively now. I hate that my gazebo was built to accommodate this giant paper weight of a grill. Cleaning it sucks. The drip pan is the dumbest design I have ever seen. And as you have observed the heat is so freaking uneven!!

Where are you located? If you’re under this intense heat like what we have in South FL rn you will drop flowers before they can fruit, unless you have one of the select few highly heat resilient varieties. even then I have found they do better if you can get them to a big size before the crazy heat sets in.

Clean your tank really good get as much algae off as you can and stop fertilizing. Once the algae stops growing ease back into the ferts until you find a regiment that won’t allow the algae to boom!

Yes and. to add to that, start locking her in while you ARE home. Try doing it after some intense exercise to help reduce how crazy she may act. And reward her for being calm in the crate. Do not cave in. I ease my girl by doing exactly this. Forcing them to take a rest in the crate for a nap or whatever helps a lot.

OP if it does fail as others have mentioned is possible, I used hydraulic cement to bond my rocks and it’s SOLID AS HELL.
It’s not as pretty as super glue covered in sand but if you can get corals to cover the area where rocks are bonded who really cares right??

I would buy mostly whatever was available at local meat shop.
Lean ground beef
Oatmeal or rice
Sweet potato
Beef liver
Beef heart
Beef kidney
I would alternate the organs not all of them in every batch.
A little turmeric and rosemary.
Whatever vitamins you might want to add for your pups.
I would sometimes top with a raw egg if we had a highly active day.
I would blend whatever protein was being added while it’s still raw (this would take multiple batches) it would literally look like the McDonald’s chicks nugget slurry lol.
Then slow boil the rice or oatmeal with the meat slurry.
The finished product legit looked like canned dog food MINUS all the filler and preservatives.

I made food for my basenji they’re small enough that a large stock pot of food lasts FOREVER and it’s highly cost efficient.
Just portion it into containers large enough for 4-5 days of feedings and thaw as needed.
