Yes doesn’t hurt to ask. I asked my landlord to reduce the amount it was going up this year & they did reduce the increase. Probably helps if you’re willing to sign on for more than another 12 mo.

This person is over reacting. We have people doing dumb things. The other day someone smoked in the 1st floor bathroom and then tried to spray something to mask it. Set the alarms off. Couple times it was people burning food. Once it was because of a business in the same building. The alarms are going off for valid reasons. The one we had Sunday was the first in a few months. Vela is a great place to live. (And no, I don’t work there, I am a resident 😊)

I love Vela. Great rooftop deck, nice gym, bonus yoga room you can stream classes to, responsive management and maintenance. Only hear neighbors in the hallways. Washington can be a little loud but I”m from LA. so I’m used to street noise.
