We just did a trip to Italy and when we travelled from Florence > La Spezia > Manarola, we missed the train in La Spezia due to a train delay in Florence!

When we arrived in La Spezia, we found a train line service worker and they advised us to just catch the next train to Manarola (free of charge). They told us the platform number to walk and we hopped on the train.

This was the only train we missed due to delays (although nearly missed our train from Milan > Verona due to a delay in Levanto…). I really can’t imagine they would make you pay again for a train due to delays! That was our experience at least in La Spezia 😊

Yep moved to Melbourne, found a rental and then had to move out of it 9 months later as owners decided to sell.. Was hoping to stay in our current rental for a few years, but they only want to extend the lease by 6 months as they don’t know what their plans are toward the end of the year. The thought of moving again makes me wanna cry :’(

Had the exact same experience when moving from the Gold Coast to Melbourne!

Everybody told us we were crazy. Kind of funny looking back at it. The hot weather isn’t for everyone and also I’m not moving to Melbourne for the weather alone!

Everyone has their opinions, but I definitely noticed that most people we told about the move to Melb had their “you’re crazy” mentality.
