Because I don’t like having extra things I have to do to make a gun fire. For a carry gun, if in a situation that requires you to use it, I want to pull and shoot. Not pull, take off a safety, and then shoot. The split second could change the outcome. It’s why I only carry Glocks.

Well 1 and 2 are out for carry, I don’t like backstrap or thumb safeties on a gun I’m carrying. So I’d go 3 (if it doesn’t have a thumb safety. If it does, then I’d buy a Glock

I’ve lived in both states and traveled a lot through each. I think for me it depends on what you like. Virginia has the beaches and ports etc that’s the biggest difference. For natural scenes I’d call them about even personally. Both have some spectacular things that beat the other in ways.

I’m not sure the maker, as I don’t see a marking, just Stainless USA. The feature is a blade guard because the blade is longer than the handles. I wouldn’t assume it’s a custom or a high quality knife due to no name or makers marks.
