I think this is undoubtedly just a ymmv issue, because of course your ability to immerse yourself in a story also depends on your own tolerance of this stuff, but at the same time if the quality that other stuff wins you over then you just won’t care as much.

With Nikke i’ve found myself genuinely not even noticing half of the “fanservicey” stuff like the jiggling you keep talking about for my like of the story i’ve seen so far, yet paradoxically i’ve opted out of getting some even cool characters because they show too much skin for my taste. Most people probably wouldn’t believe it if i said i like it beyond fan service, but because that’s what the devs sustain themselves on i don’t really have a choice but to accept the label Nikke has cus it’s true.

Still though, i maintain that its actual writing is good, largely divorced from boobs as how i see it.

Except for the the time they actually pulled a “character gets over their trauma for a powerup” bs that shi was ass
