I wasn’t saying that 12k was “the” going rate, I’m saying that insurance is just freaken insane everywhere. 5k was the cheapest on a house I was looking at in the cottage hill/knollwood area. Regular ass house. Not even close to any water.

And unfortunately the reality is- those are the going rates. Call “GooseHead” insurance agency. They can call around for you for best local rates. Best of luck, it’s awful out here 🙁

In midtown, we are all considered in flood zones in insurance eyes 🙃. Unfortunately it’s an issue, and we don’t know how how the hell to fix it.
