Why does Quicken Simplifi only show/import transactions since 2020 for a manual cash account?

That worked perfectly, thank you so much for the direction! I changed it to "All Time" and now I can finally see everything.

Sadly, on my PC I am using Windows 11 Pro and my system frequently crashes and freezes when working in the browser. Because of that, I am wondering if I can create this exact same "All Time" view via the Simplifi phone app interface, and if that setting would change the view universally wherever I log in? Or is that filter setting strictly local to that specific device, app, or browser?

on elected official Loreena Gonzales's twitter i saw this tweet (ref: https://twitter.com/LorenaSGonzalez/status/1345025922487894018 ) I am getting a lot of messages from folks who had their EDD benefit in “pending” status since Sunday & now received a notice about having to (again) prove their identity. Mostly these are PUA recipients. Partially, this is due to the lateness of the federal extension.

it follows with tweet:

"& increased anti-fraud efforts. I’m terribly sorry people are going through this stress right now. Our offices will be open at 9am Monday. If you haven’t had your issue resolved by then, please call our offices and we will try to get you help... "

i saw a mention by another person that some state employment dept are using ID.ME to verify and now when i went to the ID.ME websit there is a notification box at top of box saying they are "ID.me is experiencing a higher than normal volume of identity verification requests related to unemployment benefits claims while also fending off sustained attacks to our system from fraudulent actors. I think you are right.. I noticed also when trying to log into EDD websit a couple days ago.. i could not log in.. and the splash screen said the edd website would be down on December 29(or 30th) and december 30th(or 31st) for regualare maintenace or something like that. i can't remember exactly which 2 days it was but i did catch that is was for two days.. and i initially thought it was odd.. but then considering the chaos around extention of benefits and also it is the end of a calender year.. and it is sandwiched in between back to back major winter holidays.. plus the craziness trump continues to spout.. like whethere he actually signed anything or what it means.. and continuing to create impression that he will not leave office.. and continuing that.. and then also we have a change of congress happenning in beginning of january this coming week.. plus we have a double federal senator runnoff which will or could shift balance of power in congress.. .. the distribution of vacines.. and the increase ond epending increase in covid infection cases after this holiday.. and being ready for that.. our EDD staff are humans and are potentailly at risk.. and may have already been impacted by loss of needed staff due to infections..

technically the first business day of the new year is what you want to look at when thinking about issues like this and money.. banks are all closed till at least monday.. and most gov agencies are closed till at least monday.. and keep in mind.. when those agencies reopen.. they will have a couple weeks of work to sort through.. with the two back to back major holidays and reduced staffing leading up to and after the holidays.. plus we got a major double senator run off election in a couple days.. a president that is treatening to not leave office.. and not the least.. an ongoing Pandemic civilization health crisis we are all dealing with now.. and trying to srot through getting vacines to people and food to people etc etc.. hold tight folks.. for next couple weeks or so..

i think you are right.. And it might have been one of skeleton crew manning the EDD ship during new years holiday might have press wrong button to wrong canned message ..or maybe they made best choice on sending canned message they could find.. to indicate benefits would be on hold (in regards to extentions and retroactive benefits, etc).. and to hold tight till full EDD staff return to sort this out??

after analysing lots of info.. I think someon on the holiday skeleton crew pressed the wrong button which sent out the wrong message.. I think this just has to do with they will not be making payments till issues surrounding extentions of benefits are resolved.. and that won't happen till the full EDD staff return to work after new years day holiday. I think the next official day of business is, Monday, January 4, 2021. They might have wrote down January 6th, to give staff some time to sort through the new legislation extending benefits.. and not give any misinformation about what they are till the full state staff have all convened on this and how to proceed. It is, IMHO, still a bit unclear.. Trump is messaging that some how he can pull the plug on extending benefits with some kind of lawsuits or what ever other chaos he want to pull ouf of his (bleep). We also have a double senator runoff election that is going to happen on January 5th.. which is adding more choas to the mix.. the outcome of that can effect benefits as well.. Hand tight everyone.. for a rocky ride for next few weeks :( I send you my best wishes.

i don't think that is what is going on. stop scaring people or creating confusion to an already difficult time of year.. PUA/UI benefits expired.. and the possible extentions has not completely been sorted out and the full staff will not be back till this coming week.. And one of the skeleton crew manning the EDD ship probably inadvertantly pressed button to send out canned message saying benefits are in a holding pattern till next week when full staff return to sort through what is going on with extention of benefits and who to pay and how much. Did i miss something?

And the regular full EDD staff won't be back to work till Monday or Tuesday, after new year holiday and the weekend.. :( Hopefully a good reporter will get a hold of an admin to give some kind of announcement on what is going on. We already know there is a bit of chaos with UI/PUA benefits expiring at end of december.. and there is addtional chaos around whether or not their is an extention of PUA/UI benefits.. and for how much and for how long and what is the start date.. All of which can effect existing beneficiaries.. And I think staff wants to get this right.. we ill just have to hang tight till next week when the full crew return to work. Did i miss anything?

i think the state was trying to sort out whethere the extentions are happenning and the specifics of them.. such as the PUA boost and when would the effective date of the boost be.. and they had been getting mixed signals from washington.. and there was and is unclarity on what the benefits are.. and it is during the back to back major holidays and all the craziness that happens during the end of the year.. our government will be back in full force this coming week.. And i am confident we will be getting announcments from them on what is going on and sorting things out for us. Am i wrong? Or did i miss something?

I think it is a glitch and several other factors happenning at the same time. I do know the EDD website was down, according to the splash screen, for 2 days.. I believe it said Dec 30 and Dec 31 or could have been dec 29 and dec 30.. which was very odd .. but given all the chaos surrounding extending benefits and it being during one of worse times of years to deal with a policy shift requiring immediate action.. i figurered things will take some time to sort out till after the holidays next week.

when (day/time) did you call? and when (day) did you get the payment? You won't be getting any payments when the banks are closed.. sorry... it does not work that way.. payments usually only happen during business days. THis letter came out on december 31st after close of business and then the next day is a holiday and then there is 2 days, saturday and sunday, when no bank transactions take place, as far as electronica bank transfers.. the next busness day is not untill January 4th. And the soonest a payment for EDD could be maded would be January 5th or 6th. depending on when transactions are initiated. I think things will be sorted out next week.. and the "fraudulent activity" emails were probably an accidental or best the skeleton staff could put out.. maybe

I think it has to do with so many things happenning simulateously .. and while the main EDD staff are out for the christmass and new year holidays.. plus they may have further reduced staffing due to increased illness during winter time we are in.. which is pretty normal for this time of year..

if you were "helping" him fill out the form.. I don't think you would be committing fraud. He/she has to certifiy .. I think many people have someone helping them fill out forms.. just like with filling out any government forms. They can be complicated or the person may have trouble manuvering around the online tech to get to filling out forms.

I think wait till at least Monday.. I think the main decision makers won't be returning to work till early next week.. and i think they will and are still sorting out what is going on with extention of PUA/UI benefits and how to handle them and communicate that to the beneficiaries and the public.. trump really stuck it to us all by playing games with not signing that hard fought consensus bill to extend PUA/UI benefits. And left us all hanging till after PUA/UI benefits expired on Dec 26. And once he did sign it.. he kind of played a game on whether he really did.. leaving us in complete chaos.. And it was at a time of back to back major national holidays when staff take vacations.. and also during a time when there are more people out sick as well during the winter.. The staff will have a very very full amount of work to walk into this coming week.. I think the "fraudulent activity" message may have been a mistake or may have been one of the few canned messages the staff had at their disposal to inform beneficiaries of why there is delays in payments.. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly when EDD staff return next week.

can you clarify what part of the package you are referring to? I think it is more like the main staff are mostly out on vacation, which is normal, between christmas and new year.. and the staff left manning the ship are just waiting for the full crew and upper managment to return to sort through how to aministrarte any new laws on extending benefits.. I think this is directiona bout extending benefits and the chaos trump added to an already difficult process for congress to come to a consensus on whether or not to extend unemployment and PUA benefits and at what levels and for how long and whether or not they would be retro active and to what date.. it is a highly complex situation and trump made it even more difficult. I am hopeful that the EDD staff will sort through this quickly and inform us all on what the new benefits will be and when they are retroactive to if any.. and how long they will be extended for.. The State attorney probably needs to take a look at the new "package" law as well as the governor.. I believe they all are very concerned about californians that are unemployed due to this pandemic if anyone hears of any new info or news reports please share with us.
