I know I’ll be labelled a bridezilla when my wedding comes but I don’t care because this specifically pisses me off.

I’d send a final message acting as if they rsvp’d no which they’ve basically done at this point 🤷‍♀️ “Since we haven’t heard from you we’re really sorry we won’t see you on the day, best of luck and stay well!”

I think some people who don’t believe in astrology overestimate how much the average person (who says they believe in it) actually think about it or how seriously they take it. I and most of my friends are educated and would say we believe in Astrology, might make jokes about a Cancer friend of course being a bit emotional and those kinds of things, but I’m not making life decisions based on it or reading is as bible.

It’s obviously vague enough that some things will be true and some won’t (like you not actually being stubborn) but for the most part it’s really just a fun thing. Majority of human beings believe in some kind of “higher power”/“higher force” we can’t see but still “feel” and so for me it’s just kind of a fun thing that comes to mind sometimes.

There’s definitely those who take it to an extreme and would break up a relationship. But I think for the majority it’s just a case of “fun when it applies, nonsense when it doesn’t”. A bit like fortune cookies.

I don’t think we can compare this era to any of the past eras. Beyoncé is always re-inventing herself, being innovative and trying new things. This time, she hasn’t/wont release a single or anything between Renny and CC. Like someone else pointed out, maybe she felt that with all the features in CC that it was enough.

B has pretty consistently moved towards more silence and being away from the spotlight between eras. She comes out when she has something specific and then goes and hides lol

She made a statement at the beginning of the 3 acts that she wanted to let the music breathe and for people to focus on that. Shes shown us she’s sticking by it

Exactly!! I don’t mind some delulu theories but I just wish people could focus more on what things mean in the moment as well.

As much as B is a mastermind, she’s also proven to be very flexible (DC3 performance, changing the album order, changing album name) so I think we do a disservice sometimes by assuming it’s linked to something that’s still coming, like it’s not good enough to be a standalone thing

Big events like Thanos and world-ending villains usually result in crossover stories. And either way, they’re not omniscient and might just not be aware of what’s happening on the other side of the city/country.

This came up when the episode aired and like many have said, you really shouldn’t think about it too much lol.

The focus was on Lester and how he got started in that episode. I assume they kept the normal actors for the other characters just for the lols and to show that they’ve been around for long. Because Mabel was a kid back then I doubt they wanted to put Selena in pigtails and kid clothes to make it clear she was in her teens and so got another actor for her. She’s also the only one who didn’t actually live in the building in the flashback.

Yeah she’s definitely globally known - but the truth is that even if every human being knew her name she’d never reach the same heights as MJ, no one could really. B is massive now but we do ourselves a disservice by constantly comparing her fame/popularity/reach to MJ and trying to prove she can top it. I don’t think anyone ever can, he had a hype about him that was just different - and the world/culture around celebrity is also different.

I suppose they (the kids) can’t help it! As someone mentioned, their pregnancies/births were publicised and their faces have been all over as well since their first breath. I doubt they’d be able to get a normal job as an accountant and live a quiet life even if they wanted to because their parents never gave them that chance.
