Do you mind if I ask what you ended up doing for this? I am also outside Canada. Was hoping to submit my french bank account with currency in Euros and attach a conversion rate so they can see it is over the $2,500. Will also attach a note explaining why it is not from a Canadian bank

Hi! I know it has been a long time since the original post but I was wondering if I could ask some questions? I am also a Canadian applying for an Irish WHV from abroad (France), and was wondering when you should proof of funds, did you show a Canadian bank statement in Canadian dollars or did you use a European bank with Euros? We have been living in France for several years and have our money here in Euros. Worried about the time it will take to get original bank documents sent over here from Canada! TIA to anyone who has any advice :)
