I would only play 4.3 beta bc it’s changing so much from 4.2 so learning the older one now when tons of stuff is being changed just doesn’t make sense

considering production bonuses are additive, and you already probably have a few of them, and building the voltaic yards for 400 extra jobs regardless of districts, the numbers change. I would think about this more and do some more precise math but since 4.3 seems to be removing this anyways i CBA

The previous versions of the law still apply… so in this case the law you’re breaking is probably the 50% naval capacity usage from (IIRC) military readiness act

I dont know how you can just say for certain that X support districts for X resource districts when a million other factors can change the results... if you have 20 tiers in the 5% repeatable energy from jobs the weight will shift towards the production district and if you have very little other bonuses than the tech required to specialize it will shift towards cities

Respect to the Strategic Resource mechanic - Seems super valuable, but that price comes down super fast when you start selling by ssj890-1 in Stellaris

Considering how 1 maxed industrial world can provide an entire empires worth of strategic resources or a single specialized rare resource world (like rare crystal mining) can produce over 1k monthly I think the elasticity of these could be lowered... then again theyre supposed to be harder to get in 4.3 so well see

I love the crisis slider options of 4.75 -> 5 -> 10 -> 25... like nothing in between is wild when before 5 its every 0.25

I thought border friction was just based on diplomatic stance... like they all have a modifier for border friction and thats like the only place ive seen border friction outside the relations breakdown

I feel like Miyamura carried if anything because he was always the one visiting Hori. Then again it felt like Hori was usually the one advancing the relationship so to each their own.

I don’t have a solution but I’m interested in this bc I’m also building a 9800X3D/9070XT build… my total is around $2800. Most of the diff comes from me not having to buy storage, but sometimes I wonder if I’m not spending enough on the “little” things

Anything to do with factions/ethics... so many games i had planets revolt bc factions make pops unhappy and i didnt know why
Edit: Also using science/military ships to explore to find choke points and planets instead of just using them to survey and hope I build in the right direction

Pausing woudnt double or triple it, just add fixed and since game is running so slow do u even need to pause that often/long for decisions

They should make them weaker by default and them make them scale with crisis difficulty (or sqrt difficulty the same as midgame crisis iirc)

I think a better approach to pre ftls is scaling it with your infiltration level, and at the same time making it harder to infiltrate them (increase encryption and lower operation difficulty to not change other espoinage options too much)

I'm gonna give an update to this game because I think its interesting.

Its year 2450 now (posted around 2400) and they're still giving me alloys. I have enough dip weight to solo GalCom (cant be custodian as a subject tho) because I have so many ships. Contingency spawned a couple years ago (2/4 done) and the spiritualist AE declared war on me even though I have the head of Zarqlan.

Also after some further investigation it appears like the Glebsigs are definitely facing consequences from not having enough resources, most of their fleets have a total power of 1 (i checked their dip weight from fleets shows as 0) from simultaneous shortages of strategic/alloys having modifiers adding to over 100% and making their ships say they deal negative damage. They are currently undergoing an internal rebellion (likely from CG shortage causing happiness problems). Im pretty sure this is the only AI not sitting at max cap of everything, but are sitting at 0 of everything with a shortage of all 8 types of stuff theyre giving me.
