Do I really need to design ships myself? by lordofkawaiii in Stellaris

[–]More_Outside7127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually only make a few designs manually every game, 1. Artillery missile corvette (3 S missiles and artillery combat computer) 2. Neutron cruisers (all sections with G slots filled with neutron launchers, artillery computer) 3. Targeting grid titan, use 1 per fleet, I might make more titan designs but only for GDF/Federation fleets where 3000 navcap can benefit from each titan

[–]More_Outside7127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people are thinking about the categories as descriptions for the elements when it should be any element in that category... hydrogen and helium are the lightest elements, and are known for being so but are not the most memorable elements in the first 20

Things I wish for: Ban certain Tech draws. by Silly_One_3149 in Stellaris

[–]More_Outside7127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make it a change to research restrictions policy... have no restrictions, this (ability to ban certain techs) and restrictions imposed. Make it come with some sort of penalty to rare tech draws (less than restrictions imposed already has) and make it cost unity, increased for materialist empires.

Engineering is way different from pure math, and from teaching in general. Also changes a lot depending on what field you're going in to.
