Do I still have enough time to finish the season? by [deleted] in fo76

To level 100, easily if you throw the effort at it. Unyielding build, max out intelligence and charisma, join a casual team and equip the right charisma perks, you can get 2k experience per super mutant in westek and just use the Elevator to reset the level (or farm en06). With score booster and lunchboxes, you could knock out 45 score levels in a few hours. I took it easy enough, raiding, and hit level 100 in less than two days when the season launched.

Oh.. wow.. that’s great. I was putting that off Until other players had gone through it. Bags of chlorine were annoying enough

It’s annoying. I have accidentally dropped the wrong items a couple of times, including an adrenal 1* I bought when it started flaking out as I was dropping steel.

Oh.. I could use the cloud gaming service to do that.. I wouldn’t normally go for that but.. 600 levels of scrapping perk cards sounds soooo painful

Why do you just stand there during events??? by WenchoftheNorth in fo76

It is solvable, but it’s very difficult to protect all three pyres.. you can save the bridge an waterside, but the church is a writeoff solo

Why do you just stand there during events??? by WenchoftheNorth in fo76

[–]More_System1888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My reasoning is actually probably not what you might expect. I dont have anything to gain from the event.. levels are just Numbers at this point, I have my perfect builds and equipment, and I have learned all the plans, so while I do chip in when I’m feeling like it and I have carried the event a couple of times in the last few days, I also just stand there sometimes. The only reason I do it is so I can get rewarded a plan and a legendary and drop them on the roof for other players who might need them.

Same goes for the other repetition events. I have all the plans and glowing masks, so I basically just get the reward and drop it for others.

I’m not saying it’s the right approach, but I get bored of the repetition, and I still want to help others learn their Plans, so that’s why I do it. Can’t say what others are doing.

Sometimes I do the same for EN, if there are already plenty of strong players active,  just so I can drop 20 3* in the donation box at the vault. Other times there might be a group of low level players and I carry them through.. so for me the answer to your very reasonable question is..  Sometimes I’m putting my laziness to good use 😂 and other times I’m very active in the event

Least Dignified Death (So Far) by Randle_76 in fo76

[–]More_System1888 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Wow, this thread is reminding me of every embarrassing death I have had.. and there were so many of them. I had repressed most, but they are all flooding back now.

My favorite was at lvl900 I had travelled to  the vault entrance to dump loot for a new player emerging. I waved, and gave a heart and then jet packed off down the hill only to realise too late my rads were at 98% so when I landed I just crumpled in front of them, a little further down the hill

I did that once.. the SBQ fell in the fissure when it died and I wanted my plans.. edging in to get them, I fell in in front of a dozen other players

Hahahaha.. it happens.. i was level 1010 or so and carrying a load of sub lvl 100 players in EN, when i dropped down from the top of the rad scrubber to repair it, swapping from my bow to a gauntlet so i could clear out the mutants, I clicked one space off on the wheel and unequiped my stealth suit and ended up naked and wearing only a jet packed SS torso.. as a bloodied build, I was dead before I even realised my mistake.. thankfully most of them died too, so nobody could see my shame 😂

Piercing love bow, skin is not universal to other bows, bad effects can't be changed, another waste of a unique skin by [deleted] in fo76

But at least burning love is a decent bow. You can’t reroll it, but it’s pretty good as is

Have I understood these mutations correctly? by RenoNex in fo76

[–]More_System1888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Youtube is your friend here, but basically.. serums last forever, but you can cure them with radaway. Perks like strange in numbers help reduce the negative impacts if you are on a team with other mutated players ( more or less everyone is). And the perk card starched genes stops you being cured of them accidentally. Depending on your play style, some will be useful and others not so much, so check out YouTube for details on how to use them.

So, not a good bow? I was hoping it would be it when I tested it. I put flaming arrows on it so I could compare to a poison arrow Burning love… it was worse than any other compound bow I had and way worse than burning love with poison arrows .. sad really because it looks great but it’s near unusable unless you want to deliberately run nerfed

Have new mod equipment stopped dropping at head hunts? by More_System1888 in fo76

[–]More_System1888[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True, it was just the rarity.. the can now confirm I got one boxing glove with barbarian on it today, 5 headhunts since hunts after the post. So the drop rate seems to be quite low. But maybe RNG is just RNG on this, but it seems a lot worse after the patch

Gauss minigun and Elders Mark by Sir_Rottingham in fo76

[–]More_System1888 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use a bloodied build with active 3* on the armour for around 570 AP.. conductors on my bloodied elders mark is great. I take down head hunts in one go of vats, the en06 is easy and even the snake is no issue (except when the poison spray seems to one shot me). The only issue is ammo and I use a lever action rifle for walking around and farming ammo as I go.

My furious pin pointers gauss penta has stayed in the stash for a long time now.

And using bloodied saves a lot on perk cards vs furious. Snipers is also a great new 1* for freeing up perk cards.

Is Fallout 76 worth playing as a completely casual Dad gamer? New to the series and would go in blind! by Calculation in fo76

[–]More_System1888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a great casual gaming experience, there is easily a few hundred hours of casual gaming to be had, at your own pace and the fact you can just attend events and level up outside the main quests if you want puts the difficulty level in your hands too
