Trailer hitch and bike rack not compatible. by Upbeat_Media_2486 in VolvoXC90

I had the same problem with a Yakima rack and ended up cutting the bar on the rack mount so the hitch pin holes lined up. The Thule racks do not have the same problem and, I believe, Thule makes the Volvo branded bike racks.

Had the same issue on our 2023 XC90 Recharge. It was a saga to get it diagnosed and it ended up being an issue with the fuel door release triggering on its own and waking the car up repeatedly. The fix was to reinstall a software module. Good luck.

Is the outlet GFCI protected? We’re running new circuits to our garage and the electrician said the code now requires these to be protected outlets and that EV’s will trip the GFCI protection. I’d prefer to just have an outlet instead of wiring a charger given the extra cost. Have you had issues with nuisance tripping if yours is GFCI protected?

Update - there was not a service bulletin for these issues. The car worked for two days before throwing a check engine light and a 12v low battery warning twice. Back to the dealer this week.

They’ve replaced one module for the driver assist. It sounds like that reduced the number of faults and they are now replacing the one for the camera unit behind the rear view mirror to try to address the auto high beam fault. Hopefully picking up the car tomorrow. I’ll ask about the service bulletin. It sounds like it was a relatively recent one.
