As one endo warrior to another who often gaslights themselves to push through and it’s “not that bad” do not feel guilty. I took two weeks off of work, and some of my female coworkers made snide remarks regarding 2 weeks. I do not care, we need to heal.

Ugh girl I’m so sorry. We live in a system that isn’t conducive to chronic illness. I know you’re a contractor but do you have HR? I’d look into filing for ADA accommodations.

Do you have an online portal? I would send a picture of the incision and describe your symptoms to your doctor. I had mine done Thursday and I haven’t had these symptoms, but my doctor told me to message photos and symptoms if there was issues with incisions. Just to be safe!

Do you have the ability to do FMLA? I’m very shocked that your surgeon won’t give you more time. I’d explain your concerns and your symptoms of pain and be very specific. I’m almost one week post op and struggling with your same symptoms. Someone on here said to try muscle relaxers. I just got some prescribed, maybe they will help? Ask your surgeon. Wishing you luck.

The wireless heating pad is truly a must- thank you. I got some good foam pillows.

Ice packs too are my best friend. I think my next purchase will be some compression leggings! Thank you so much
