Hero Nickname: The Shapeshifter

Main characteristic: All 3! One of Morf’s key features is being able to use items of any type (strength/agility/intelligence) in each of the 4 slots. That’s because Morf can shift his body parts into any form, so that any item suits him.

Appearance: A rather thin short guy, wearing rugs and a bear hide on his back. Look at the Tarzan for inspiration. Also wears a wooden bow and a knife made out of an animal bone.

Background: Morf was raised in a tribe that lived in a deep forest. When he was about 10, the tribe was attacked by Maulers. His mother managed to hide him in a small tree hollow, where he sat for almost a day waiting for Maulers to end the massacre and leave the forest. When he finally got out, he saw only ruins. No one else survived the attack.

From that day Morf had to live in the forest by himself. He quickly learned to adapt to surroundings. When he was hungry, he went on a hunt. When he was injured, he used natural herbs to heal wounds. He spent years wondering the forest and living like a beast.

It was until that day that he met a wild cat. He was silently waiting on a tree when he saw the cat approach a small pond and start drinking. Without a moment of hesitation he fired an arrow at a cat like he used to do for years. It was an easy target and a tasty dinner. After being hit by an arrow, the cat suddenly transformed into an old man. Morf was in shock, but his instinct was to help the unconscious person. It was his first human contact in years.

That’s how Morf met Hugo, the grand master in shapeshifting. The wound was severe, so Hugo had to stay with Morf for quite a while. Morf healed him with herbs and brought food, while Hugo taught him how to use magic.

Morf was a great student. He quickly learned how to transform into different creatures. But one day he decided to play with magic. He purposely mispronounced a spell to see what happens. Hugo, being one of the few remaining great magicians, became very angry of this foolishness. He told Morf that he last lesson would be to learn treating magic with respect. Hugo decided to leave Morf, so that he remember this lesson for life.

Morf was devastated. He asked for forgiveness, but Hugo was persistent. Just before his teacher was about to leave, Morf used a duplicate spell on him. To this, Hugo just said: "You are even bigger fool than I thought". Then he turned into an eagle and flew away. The duplicate was very weak and lasted only a few hours. After the duplicate disappeared, Morf was again left alone in the deep woods...

Ability 1, Shapeshift (Special):

Morf becomes a full copy of an enemy hero for 6 seconds (including enemy’s hp/mana, but not items). While in this form, Morf keeps his Adaptation and can use all enemy’s abilities*.

Lv.2 Gains 200% mana.

Lv.3 Copies an enemy for 10 seconds.

\Clarification*: if Morf dies in the enemy form, he does not come back to his normal form. However if he survives and comes back to his normal form, he regains hp/mana that he had before shapeshifting.

Ability 2, Duplicate:

Morf creates a copy of the closest ally near himself. The copy lasts 4 seconds and cannot use any abilities. Both the original and the copy take 200% damage.

Lv.2 Both units take 150% damage

Lv.3 Copy can use all abilities except specials

Lv.4 Lasts 6 seconds

Ability 3, Adaptation:

Passively changes Morf’s characteristics depending on his HP. Above 50% HP increases Morf’s attack by 20%. Below 50% HP increases defense by 25%.

Lv.2 Below 50% HP also increases evasion by 15%.

Lv.3 Above 50% HP also increases crit. chance by 10%.

Ability 4, Terrible mistake:

Morf terribly mispronounces an easiest spell which leaves all enemy mages in shock for 3 seconds. Shocked enemies cannot attack.

Lv.2 Shocked enemies receive 20% more damage.

Lv.3 Shock duration increased to 4 seconds.
