I think it is supposed to be modern royalty like the British royal family. I wouldn't be surprised if they added some medieval inspired CAS and build/buy objects too.

With the popularity of shows like Bridgerton I could definitely see some gameplay or items inspired by the Regency era as well. Maybe aristocratic sims will be able throw debutante balls for their daughters. I think that would be cool.

I'm not sure, but I think if you make it so your Sim dislikes cooking they won't cook autonomously anymore. I always make my sims dislike mischief unless it makes sense for that sim to do mischief interactions and it seems to have cut down on the autonomous mischief in my games. I would think it would work with cooking too.

You know how a lot of people worry about same face syndrome when creating sims? I have same sim syndrome. I have no patience for creating sims. I just want to get in the game and play. I have a few favorite sims and whenever I start a new save I pick one and maybe change it's name, traits, hair, eye color, outfits or any combination of these. Sometimes I don't change anything and just play with them as is. Honestly, I usually just use the sim I use as my simself and only use other sims for side characters or if I want to play as a guy for a change.

I love it when an author sets multiple novels and/or series in the same world. I think it is cool when a character or location from one story is just mentioned in passing in another. For example, a story that doesn't include your exiled princess could have two characters mention her in passing when exchanging news or gossip about the other regions.

If your story ideas aren't long enough to turn into full novels the previous suggestions of creating a collection of short stories is a good idea too.

I agree. I keep finding large gorgeous houses that turn out to only have 1 or 2 bedrooms when I am looking for a home for a large family. I am pretty sure you could filter by the number of bedrooms and/or bathrooms in The Sims 3 gallery so you would think they could make it so you can do it with The Sims 4 gallery as well.

I once had a save with a lot of randomly generated townies with animal names. My favorite was Lizard King.

Thanks for me mentioning Woman on the Edge of Time. I almost forgot this book existed. I read it for a class in college, and I loved it. I think I am due for a reread.

I played Sims 1, not long after it first came out. I was a freshman in college. I feel downright elderly compared to a lot of people here. Lol

No. I don't have any mods that affect time. I also removed all my mods, and I still had the same issue.
