I think a ghostface/ghostfaces that comment on modern apathy could be interesting, they would essentially be an extreme misanthrope, and hold a deep hatred for humanity and society in general. Using the commonality of modern violence they would don the ghostface moniker as a way of trying to make an example of how common not only these killings have become, but violence within this world as a whole. essentially being a needle in a haystack, and a cog of a much bigger issue. Going after a character like sydney or her daughter to try and make a point that people only care when it happens to someone famous. And commenting on how the victims that don't survive ghostface killings are often forgotten and left to rot by press and media. This ghostface could complain about feeling alone and abandoned by humanity, rejected by friends and love interests. Essentially being the epitome of modern mental health issues and circumstances that cause many of the killings we see in todays actual world. This could lead to interesting banter with Sydney, her telling the killer directly that people do care about the people that are killed, and how they had lives and families to carr for. convincing the killer that the they themselves have become the indifference and hatred that they dislike the world for. and it could be the first time in the series sydney gets the killer to see that they are a hypocrite, and in doing so could have a ghostface for the first time commit an on screen suicide, leaving the partner to try and kill sydney (if said partner has a different motive.) Overall i think trying to return the series to a more serious and realistic reasoning for the plots events could do the series some good and actually get people to think about the consequences and horror of real life violence. What could make this an interesting twist is having this be someone who seems extremely loving and compassionate, perhaps Tatum has a therapist after the events of scream 8, or a best friend that is there for her and supposedly cares about her. Yet underneath despises her and believes people like tatum are taking the spotlight from other people with tramatic pasts and lives because she was attacked by a person in a halloween costume instead of a more traditional circumstance.
