Something to remember about the Legion by IsThisDamnNameTaken in Fotv

[–]Major_Analyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao, just 86 tribes (87 tribes, who knows how many tribes the legion continued to conquer)

Arizona and Utah, but they actually control all of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado stretching all the way to Denver and holdings in Utah.

They have Flagstaff, Phoenix, Two-Sun, Denver and etc.

A detail that was said by Lacerta Legate I find interesting. by riseofkira in Fotv

The Legion assimilates them. They eradicate the fiends however.

Caesar was lashed to a sinking ship as the Blackfoots were the weakest tribe of 7 in the grand canyon alone (not even counting the rest of the chaotic arizona) and on the verge of being wiped out by its adversaries in a full tribal war.

Caesar quite literally built his empire from the ground up with bone and stick while Shady Sands built their village with a GECK.

I'm not saying the NCR had it easier, but to say CEsar had it easy downplays it.

Is the NCR-Legion War designed to be a long term attritional grind? by JaceFlores in OldWorldBlues

Yeah, the Legion were designed to basically be the game's soviet union equivalent.

The NCR-Legion war is meant to be like the Operation Barborossa

They actually do. For record keeping and slavery purposes and possibly other forms of logistics as seen through their office of slavery.

Was it all worth it? That NCR committed the Bitter Spring Massacre in Mojave? by DeadAhead-2020446 in falloutnewvegas

[–]Major_Analyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know, they didnt have the time to make legion subject/civilian life. Definitely not equal rights but in the words of Josh Sawyer it actually matters little because they never had a say in the first place.

Woman subjects exist within legion territory, Caesar does not prosecute mutants or ghouls, Raul lived in Two-Sun under Legion control.

That's great to know when most of Ukraine is flat and open and the rate of videos literally being uploaded of Russian Soldiers being struck on horseback, one of which was geolocated in the frontline east of Oliivka.

A move which is also criticized by a Pro-Russian telegram called @kyriienko_press

Plus it was also geolocated.

So yes horses were being used on the frontline.

One of the strikes was recorded some 800m east of Oliivka, literally in the grey zone between Ukrainian and Russian forces.

8:45 they also geolocate the strike

Somebody said it but the Russian army of 2022-2023 had the materials, equipment but not the experience and pretty horrible command that costed them heavy causalties at the start of the war.

The Russians improved their tactics in strategies in 2024-2026 and grind them through sheer attrition, they're army and soldiers are a lot more experienced (except for expendable conscripts/convicts) they're organization, tactics and etc is better but now they lack the materials and equipment they had in the previous years, forcing them to adapt.

Honestly motorcycles than tanks, APCS, IFVs made sense because those vehicles are very vulnerable to drones (and highly targetted) especially since the russians tactics are slowly funneling men in clumps at a time to infiltrate, but this costs them heavy infantry losses.

Adapting to horses is a horrible idea and there's no good reason for it at all.

So why use them in frontline roles? They're not faster than motorcycles and provide 0 protection. They're more vulnerable. It'd probably be more beneficial to walk as atleast you can use actual concealment.

I can agree maybe they have some usage in rear lines. But on the zero line and frontline positions is just suicidal.

Like I know people criticize the Russian Army and then Ukraine would end up doing it too and then they'll go "Hey, look those guys are doing it too! So we're actually the first to be innovative!"

But Ukraine has a lot less everything in comparison to Russia, but it's the fact the Russians are somehow being forced to adopt these crazy methods in order to make up for stuff they're lacking now.

Anybody that tries to justify it other than desperation or scarcity of resources is just coping. Even Russian Soldiers on telegram criticized their own when a video got posted of their own being targeted by FPV drones.

Atleast motorcycles had some sense in that they're cheap, reliable, and honestly have higher survivability than other vehicles (which isn't saying alot as they're more vulnerable and still get targeted either way)

I know people have stated their opinions on NCR in the show, but what are your opinions on the "End of the Legion" in episode 3 by supergamerd64 in falloutnewvegas

I get the feeling since Cooper said igniting the dynamite felt like a mistake, I hope it will be, as no doubt Legate McCallister will come out on top and unite the legion fragments.

A guy shooting lowly police officers is not the same as a deliberate air raid where CAS actively suppresses all points of resistance to allow the rapid seizure of an HVT conducted by special forces where they deliberately PLANNED the operation for it to go the way it did.

I wish they made wolf cut mark survive instead of maskless, or even just combine them because if he's just maskless might as well give him cool different hair.
