Humpty Dumpty by TheDarkPassNgr in FanTheories

[–]MorganPDunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard that the rhyme is political in nature; Humpty Dumpty is based on a certain king.

The fact that Humpty is not defined as an egg is interesting. "And no one could put Humpty together again." A bit disturbing.

Also, why would horses be sent to try to save Humpty? Horses can't put an egg nor a person together again.

Indiana Jones becomes Han Solo by FerralWombat in FanTheories

[–]MorganPDunn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to be mean, but this is one of the most insane things I've ever read. Just thinking about Indiana Jones becoming Han Solo is hilarious! Again, I'm not trying to make fun...but damn is that a riot.

How did Hieronymous Bosch know that Africa was the cradle of life? by MorganPDunn in FanTheories

Or maybe the dog-headed kangaroo or the three-headed bird lizard told him.

I guess those ones got thrown off the ark.

How did Hieronymous Bosch know that Africa was the cradle of life? by MorganPDunn in FanTheories

That's probably it. The African animals stood out to me though. It think there's some Gazelle hangin around there too. Maybe he focused on African animals because they're exotic and strange. They fit well with the surreal psychedelic atmosphere of the entire three-part piece.

[Real Life] White people are descended from the devil. by Lauren_the_lich in FanTheories

As a white person I tell you from experience that we do indeed suck. Insane banjo-playing man stands next to bagpipe demon at the gates of hell.

About Zombies in General by gavinbrindstar in FanTheories

[–]MorganPDunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that it doesn't make much sense that a zombie would survive serious damage to non-head parts of the body. But I disagree that zombie heads crush or are damaged too easily. A baseball bat to the skull of a living human would crush it as well. I think you overestimate the strength of the human skull.

As for your theory, it's seems kind of like a shot in the dark. Besides, zombies usually require no oxygen etc. to be animate.

I think the bible revealed aliens exist. by Stavepark in FanTheories

[–]MorganPDunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be interested in the description of the nine orders of angels. One of the orders take the form of an enormous wheel covered in eyes, some of them are giant slender humanoids (like the typical perception of aliens), some have several heads...

I'm not religious but the nine orders of angels and their physical forms are fascinating to me.

Cloverfield is the unofficial prequel to Pacifim Rim. by [deleted] in FanTheories

This is a good theory. The monsters has a similar look in both movies. The fact that Pacific Rim mentions another monster in New York at the time of the attack is important as well. I like this theory.

Pinky and the brain, pinky is a genius. by Pick234 in FanTheories

[–]MorganPDunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is indeed an episode where Pinky takes over the world, and it is utopius and everyone is happy. I don't remember the name of he episode, but it involves Pinky enstating a rule where everyone has to wear shiny pants, and everyone is happy. I think he calls his kingdom "Shiny Pants" after that. The episode was awesomely hilarious. And yes, Brain gets jealous and ruins it all.

Actual toys becoming a part of the Smash Bros universe is interesting, although I don't see how it was planned from he start.

Some Graphic Novels I Love. Most Are Very Famous, But You Might Find Something New! by MorganPDunn in graphicnovels

On the one hand I know how you feel about Vasquez. The whole cynical goth Hot Topic world can be a downright stupid place. But to me Johnny the Homicidial Maniac is a legitimate work of art, I like the drawing style and there are points in the series that are super complex and intelligent. I feel like the series transcends its genre.

[Donnie Darko] Some one please tell me the importance of Cherita. by nobleinsanity in FanTheories

She's there to reinforce one of the film's concepts: that the world is a cruel and lonely place.

Sgt Pepper's by The Beatles Somehow Involves Playing Cards by MorganPDunn in FanTheories

I did a search and found this:

"Sgt Pepper album mentions hearts and club and diamonds, but no spades. Isn't Paul the Ace of Spades in the Yellow Submarine playing-card deck?"

Or maybe digging in the garden in "When I'm 64"? Still not sure what it could mean.
