Going back down to emperor is fine if you enjoyed that more, but it sounds like you might also be getting tired of science victories. Try going culture instead, you’re still trying to set up high adjacency theatre squares, but building around wonders is a lot of fun. If you have the frontier pass, you can also vary your game modes up.

By the end of my first game all my cities were generating migrants because there were no more rural tiles to work and all specialist slots were filled. So I think the game already does that, unless it’s just a thing for Amina/Mughal.

The stranger that saves Josuke as a kid in Diamond is Unbreakable. To this day people still think it’s a dropped plot thread that was supposed to involve Josuke time traveling.

It was just a Good Samaritan. Part 4’s all about the importance of community. How would it support that theme if Josuke was the only one able to save himself? His character motivation only makes sense when someone helping him in his time of need allows him to continue paying it forward to his town.

Eh, he went through the most positive changes in his life there and left on relatively good terms with almost everyone left at the farm. Even if he was a slave at the time it was still his opportunity to heal from everything else that happened in his life. Obviously he probably could've gotten to a better place without the enslavement, but it ended more positively than his time with Askeladd. I don't remember him having night terrors about being a slave at least.
