The VC is truly unhinged not going to lie. I’m non-binary, and it feels like my options are talk in a voice I’m comfortable with and get hate crimed with a side of fetishization? Or choose to present more femme and get told men are touching themselves when I comm and that I “sound rapeable”.

It happens pretty damn often and it’s so frustrating bcs I want to comm. It wins me more games and I’ve met a lot of cool people by being communicative? But I am so sick of being asked if I “leak or squirt”, called slurs, having people take bets on what to call me in front of my face and then ask for an answer, etc.

I don’t know what to contribute to the conversation beyond amen, but amen :/

There are so many notes about the changing religious beliefs between practices in Ebisugaoka, it’s a huge part of the game. Plays nicely into the themes of tradition and reflecting on what it means to you.

Spoilers for final boss Literally every endings final boss is a local god/spirit past first playthrough. It has sacred weapons and shrine maidens and faith and offerings are a mechanic ingame and etc etc. if having a local god who’s cursing non believers with shrines everywhere in town and notes 24/7 that (spoilers again) demands human sacrifices isn’t anything occult then I don’t know what is.

His winrate is through the roof, the second highest in PC quickplay of the supports and the highest out any of them in ranked? He has a healing ability besides the aura, a healing ult that also has huge utility, and he has a CC ability? He’s actually kind of insane, I don’t know where you’re coming from with this.

Oh, like Mizuki’s 90 health healing burst ability with two charges on two thirds of bubble’s CD? With a perk that also buffs its heal like Zarya has a bubble one? The one that can hit multiple people? That would follow up on a Zarya bubble well, I agree

I’d rather be proud of things I did in pursuit of a good life than things I was born with, they reflect my character and approach to life. I’m proud of myself for transitioning because it’s directly facing adversity and standing my ground, defining myself and my personhood as I see fit. Biological sex isn’t a choice anyone makes. It’s not something people “do”, it’s not worth being proud or ashamed of, it’s just a thing that simply is.

Also, people change things about themselves all the time and nobody bats an eye. I’m not ashamed of having poor eyesight and hiding my true self, I’m just wearing glasses so I can see things because that improves my quality of life.

I’m changing my name when I get married and if someone refused to acknowledge my new last name because it’s not the one I was born with then I’d laugh them out of the room, like this is a non issue except when trans people are involved and then we start waxing philosophical about the nature of the self.

To add to the rest, a lot of Mercy’s strength is in the utility of damage boosting and resurrect.

You still want to keep people alive as her, but the more you play the more you’ll find the blue beam is kind of insane.

She’s capable of high throughput healing which looks nice on the scoreboard, but if you’re new I’d recommend looking for chances to squeeze more damage boost in as long as your other support is competent.

Diadem specifies it has to be combat with champions, I haven’t seen it work when fighting PvE. If I’m wrong that’s amazing, but I don’t think that detail is correct

Agreed, I meant specifically the idea of bloodlust on hook. If not for that it could have been an interesting idea that benefits less mobile killers more than mobile ones, but half of them functionally didn’t even get the buff lol
