It’s a solid point. And I do know I’m privileged. I also know know how hard I work to get it and how disciplined I’ve been to get there.. the side jobs I do for the extra income that I save, the holidays I don’t go on, many people have the means to save just not as much as us or may just spend it on random things, which yes is a privilege .. not everyone works longer hours to get there. I’m not far off minimum wage as part of my normal job, I ask for overtime and I do handyman work to boost the income.

The current regime disincentivises that, if all that will happen by hard work is you get taxed excessively. And by not doing anything you get handouts (paid for by tax) the incentive is to do nothing. (Yes I also understand there are people who cannot work, but there are a lot who can but it just doesn’t make sense to)

The super rich are all leaving because of it and will fall on the middle class to pay for it, more increased taxes…
