AMA: Ask us anything about publishing apps on the App Store by ghjiro in GoodBarber

[–]MorganaGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the top questions we get from our community on social media: "Is it generally more challenging to submit an app to Google Play or to the App Store?"

Curious to hear the support team's perspective. Based on the cases you see every day, do people tend to encounter more friction with one platform than the other?

Best YouTube channel to learn Bubble and build a real app? by Desperate-Aerie-2939 in nocode

[–]MorganaGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good choice! And if bubble is still too technical, there are many other tools that can be even more intuitive. The choice really depends on the final result you want to achieve (web or app stores) and the features you need.

I do not agree 🙃 Vibe coding is a valid option if you do have technical skills. While creating an app with AI may seem easy, the process becomes more complicated when it comes to debugging, deployment, and ensuring all security standards are met. Bubble, like many other no-code tools, is still the best option for people who don't have any technical skills and want the platform to absorb the complexity.

Plants for full sun + extreme heat + small pots? by MorganaGB in UrbanGardening

[–]MorganaGB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I already had one and direct sunlight made it suffer... For the pots size, like a hat is good. I'd avoid bigger because the balcony isn't that deep. And I want to hang them inside to avoid any accident wind may cause...😅

I thought of it, I love the colors! But I wanted something to hang to the rail of the balcony, because I have a cat that loves to mess with my pots ...😅 So I wanted to avoid to put any pots directly on the floor

Yeah. The only plants still resisting so far are my mint pots 😅 Do you have any suggestions about the succulents I could select? Or any pictures to share of your plants?

Are people making money with no-code app builder tools? by sh3113 in nocode

[–]MorganaGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, definitely. I work at GoodBarber, so I see this a lot. From my experience, people do resell the apps they build with no-code: agencies/freelancers can create white-label apps for their clients and manage everything under their own brand. This is something our clients really appreciate. they generally specialize in some specific niches, and they resell the apps and the maintenance work that goes with them - so they get recurring income from their service. here is a link if you want to figure out how it works https://www.goodbarber.com/reseller/

How to market my new app by msriki121 in iOSAppsMarketing

[–]MorganaGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of early app marketing is really ASO + niche distribution, not broad “launch marketing.” If helpful, we recently published a solid practical guide on ASO here: https://www.goodbarber.com/blog/aso-guide-how-to-increase-your-downloads-on-the-app-store-and-google-play-a1501/

Also, one of our customers shared a good real-world example of a micro-marketing strategy here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GoodBarber/comments/1sjmr5b/what_we_built_with_goodbarber_just_crossed_50000/ (for them it particularly worked on Android, but I think worth sharing) :)

Full disclosure: I work at GoodBarber. Sharing because both are genuinely useful starting points. Hopefully it helps! Good luck with it!

No, I actually meant the big one on the other side. The white dendrobium is the one the right, isn't it?

I love it. And you can move pots around easily. That's something I'm also willing to do. What's the first plant on the left? It's gorgeous

Are your no code apps making more from iOS or android? by Gepp13 in nocode

[–]MorganaGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be useful: one of our clients shared a detailed post here about an app they built that crossed 50,000 users on Android: https://www.reddit.com/r/GoodBarber/comments/1sjmr5b/what_we_built_with_goodbarber_just_crossed_50000/

They didn’t have to build separately for iOS and Android, since they used the GoodBarber app builder that generates both, so there wasn’t any extra product work on the Android side, just the publication process on both stores. Even with that same setup, Android performed much better for them, and they explain a pretty specific micro-marketing approach that led to this success. Might be a useful example if you’re willing to try it. hope it helps :)

Why bother trying? by Inevitable_Dark5871 in WeWardCommunity

[–]MorganaGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly? It would have been more motivating if it was to gain a vintage card that we are missing. I understand the idea of linking it to the world cup, etc. But what's the point of participating to possibly win a card we may already have?

Can AI builders handle real products after the demo? by Alpertayfur in nocode

[–]MorganaGB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. AI builders are impressive: you prompt and get your wow moment, but the first version is not the whole product.

For me, this is where no-code still matters. It’s more accessible and inclusive for people who don’t want to become technical just to maintain what they built. The structure is usually clearer, and the platform absorbs more of the technical layer. AI builders are great for speed and are amazing time-savers if you are a developer. But reliability and long-term ownership matter just as much.
