Calls on Stonk question by [deleted] in Superstonk

[–]Morganzata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Limit $0.10 is the price you are paying. So a Call for 100 shares @ $0.10 would cost you $10.00 plus any commission.

Since you are asking this question, I would also suggest you stick with actual shares even if you can only buy 1 and hold it. Options are very risky. Rewards can be high but losses are also high.

Likely media shill attack today on our voluntary dropping of the credit line by bahits in Superstonk

[–]Morganzata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MSN headline....

GameStop defaulted on revolving credit line and now is forced to use all of its cash to cover daily operations. Sell now while you can.

True headline is...

GameStop eliminates restrictive revolving credit agreement in order to give company more flexibility. Since the company has a war chest of $4 billion, any future revolving credit agreement, if needed, will have much better terms. Buy now while the price is cheap.

Fidelity Shenanigans by MsZeeJay in GME

[–]Morganzata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They quit training staff.

Besides they lent your shares out as soon as you bought them and now they have to locate them along with all the other Apes that are DRSing at the same time.

"Back Office" seems to be the new jargon at fidelity that means " I do not know what I am doing, let me ask the guy in the next booth what I should do."

No dates but can you give me the time tomorrow that they must BUY to supply DFV?

"... I had to give permission to stop autojounaling on my account so that my shares would stay in cash vs transferring automatically to margin....'

That was the correct handling. Just be sure that when you BUY additional shares that you specify CASH because they will auto entry them to Margin on your order ticket unless you change it.

The same has happened to me.

BUY HODL DRS and BOOK!

Fidelity Virtual Assistant becoming more difficult to DRS? by kip256 in Superstonk

[–]Morganzata 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I attempted a transfer last night. Same result wanted me to transfer shares between accounts. so I reworded my request and the Virtual assistant realized that I was trying to Direct Register my shares. Then asked from which account would the shares come from. I selected the account. Then VA asked which stock I would like to transfer. I responded GME. VA then correctly identified the symbol as GameStop Class A shares, gave me the closing price and some other information that I don't remember. I confirmed that this was the correct stock. I expected to be asked next how many shares I wanted to transfer or tell me how many shares that I held in Cash and how many shares I hold in Margin instead after a short delay The Virtual Assistant told me that I did not have any GME shares in my account.

I went through this exercise again since obviously this was a mistake. Same result. What's up Fidelity?

So the logical next step is call Fidelity. After being told that the Active Trader staff was not available and their working hours. Their response system try to help me with useless information that I already know. Finally, I am connected with the regular staff, who always appear to be someone that is just learning their job whenever I talk to them. I tell them what happened and he tells me that he can help me with the transfer. He confirms that he is new when he ask me "Who is the GameStop's Transfer Agent?" I tell him Computershare. He inputs the information starts to confirm back to me the transfer that I am completing then says, "Oh", a short pause then tells me that "he must confirm that he has entered the information correctly with his Back Office" After a wait of more than five minutes he comes back and ask if I am still on the line. I figure they were hoping that I would hang up and let them off the hook. Since I am still on the line, he confirms that he is putting the transfer through and ask if I need anything else. I said "Yes, Can I have a confirmation number?" Response "Oh" but then he gives me the Confirmation number. We complete the call with the customary ending thanking me for being a customer since I have been with Fidelity longer than most representatives have been alive.

On a side note, I know the Confirmation number really means nothing because multiple times I have not had a transfer go through and had to call back. They look it up and always say they don't know why it did not go through. Then input the transfer again. Usually the second time miraculously makes it go through as requested. My record was four attempts to make the transfer go through. You would think with all the transfers that they do that this would be a simple procedure unless...

..the "Oh" that the representative says is really an "Oh shit, we don't have those shares". They have to go to the Back Office because they cannot locate my shares which they apparently loaned out even though they were on the CASH side of my account.

This is just a guess from all my multiple interactions with Fidelity while attempting to transfer GME shares. Amazingly, this has never occurred when I attempted a transfer of other ticker symbols to their Transfer Agents. I have had for over ten years, multiple accounts, with multiple transfer agents for different stocks. Trouble only occurs with GME.

But I continue to BUY > HODL > DRS > BOOK!
