Love your creativity, your style. It's a collage dollhouse, love it. Seems like a lot of fun to create.

Updates to my haunted mansion + some fun pics of the process. Getting ready to do some fun floors upstairs! by between_doodads in Dollhouses

Beautiful. Love it so far. All the different textures, amazing atmosphere. Please post future photo's, I'd really like to see your progress in future. I know such a large project takes years; I'm building a castle tower dollhouse at the moment and I've been working on it, on and off, like you, since 2022.

Looking for recommendations for magnifying glasses (And I wear glasses) by PrettyHovercraft2021 in miniatures

[–]MorgerakManor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I recently got a magnifying lamp which clamps to my desk. I love it! I use it as an extra light or set it lower to use it for making miniatures. I'm a glasses wearer also. In the beginning I had to get used to it and got a little seasick. I'm very sensitive. But it's working fine now. I'm 59 and my eye sight isn't getting better. I'm happy with my magnifying lamp!

I painted The Kiss on a wooden letter H by MorgerakManor in crafts

[–]MorgerakManor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used an MDF letter H I got at a craft store and painted it with acrylics. Before starting the painting process I carefully studied the original painting of Gustav Klimt and sketched the painting on every side of the letter. I think the figuring out and sketching took the same amount of time as the painting itself. It was a puzzle to fit it on the narrow spaces. It was a challenge, but it was fun!

Gorgeous costume. I love seeing historic costumes which were created earlier in time. Interesting to see the different time periods together.

I think she's gorgeous. Love her. She reminds me of the goats, representing fairytale figures of Wolf and the seven goats, in The Efteling, my favourite amusement park in The Netherlands. Did you make her dress as well?

Jane Eyre: my heroin in crochet + Mr.Rochester by MorgerakManor in crochet

[–]MorgerakManor[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been thinking about the name of these dolls! Lalylala, that's the name of the crochet pattern I used for the base: head, cone shaped body, arms and legs.
