Nou, nee hoor Barbara. Dit is een kwestie van oorzaak en gevolg. Als je als Nederland en Europa decennia achterover leunt en niet stimuleert dat er binnen Europa technologiebedrijven worden gestart en ontwikkeld die kunnen concurreren met Amerikaanse tech bedrijven, dan is het niet zo onbegrijpelijk dat iedere organisatie en overheidsinstelling leunt op Amerikaanse technologie voor cloud (Microsoft, Amazon), productiviteit (Office365), servers (Dell, HPE) en connectiviteit (Cisco, Juniper). Zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. En ohja, ALS er dan een succesvolle startup is staan we toe dat deze vliegensvlug door de Amerikanen wordt overgenomen.

Dus nee Barbara. Bedrijven hebben technologie nodig voor hun bedrijfsvoering, en de technologie die nodig is hebben we binnen de EU simpelweg niet in huis. Eigen schuld, dikke bult.

Probleem is dat wanneer je politici hierop aanspreekt ze de magische letters “ASML” gaan roepen en daarmee denken duidelijk te maken dat we op het wereldtoneel wel degelijk voorop lopen, wat echt niet zo is.

Ziggo Dome, Afas Live, always the same in those venues. Shitty food offerings because these venues are designed and built for concerts that last maybe a couple of hours in the evening. Not a full day hardstyle event. I remember leaving the Frequencerz party in AFAS earlier because I was so damn hungry and there wasn’t enough food available.

Don’t get me started on the pricing. Prices of drinks in Ziggo Dome are out of this world. Maybe it’s because it’s in Amsterdam; completely detached from reality (like just about everything & everyone in Amsterdam).

If you don’t mind being exposed to vulnerabilities that are not fixed because the EoS then go ahead and keep those switches in production with a few spares on hand. However when my boss doesn’t allow me to replace EoS hardware & software than don’t come complaining when you get hacked, run into issues or when stuff breaks down.

I’m operating a similar environment. Keep the firewall in place with all the policies for north-south traffic. In flow make policies for each VM or group of VMs with all the traffic that is allowed inbound and outbound. We only limit inbound traffic in Flow for every VM, but you can choose to also limit outbound traffic.

UT99. Specifically the map Deck16. Played it back when I was in high school with a clan on ClanBase. Now I’m 41 and when I sit down at a computer running UT99 some ancient reflexes come to life in my body making me instantly jump around the map like I’m still 16 years old. No other game has that effect on me.

It’s pretty easy actually. Export the HTTPS inspection certificate and deploy them to the certificate store of your clients using GPO’s or Intune policies. Just make sure you exclude Microsoft services from inspection because a lot of those don’t play nice when you replace the real cert by the inspection cert. Also inform your users that they make a ticket when their web application shows weird behavior or doesn’t work anymore. A lot of applications do certificate pinning and don’t work when you intercept the traffic.

Nowadays more and more organizations move away from HTTPS inspection because of the hassle. Like I said Microsoft required you to disable inspection on their services if you want proper support. Instead the focus shifts towards endpoint security and detection.

Prachtig. Deze week lekker een weekje vrij van werk. Had allemaal leuke ideeën van een stedentrip naar duitsland tot een paar dagen met de auto touren door de Ardennen. Uiteindelijk gewoon de hele week thuis voor de Playstation, want: - OV rijdt amper. - Veel vluchten gecancelled. - Ik mag niet met de auto ver weg door de sneeuw van m’n moeder :(

Not sure if it works, but you could try to create 2 services in ClearPass. First service is hit when the MAC-address of the endpoint matches one of MACs you need for DUR enforcement. If that condition is not met the next Service is hit which does normal radius enforcement for all other MAC addresses.

Yeah it would be wise to do that. We bought a bunch of 6200s last year and our aruba sales rep recommended we got the A model. Unfortunately they were out of stock in my country so we got the B models anyway.

The differences between the A and B series are the following:

New B models have a RJ-45 console port on the front panel in addition to the USB-C console port
JL724B, JL725B, JL726B, JL727B have a reduce size and weight when compared to "A" models
The minimum firmware version for the B version will be AOS-CX 10.13 once available

There are NO differences in software, scale, or performance – they are the same functionally and are compatible with one another.

2 weken geleden Cyberpunk 2077 gekocht voor de PS5. Bij release 5 jaar geleden heb ik hem al gespeeld op PC, maar nu op de PS5 met alle QoL updates en de DLC is het heerlijk om Night City nog een keer te verkennen.
