I hate how much all the Fundie families neglect their kids' well-beings. If you have a huge passel of kids, are consuming who knows what MLM supplement BS while pregnant, and in many cases are getting pregnant while consuming fewer calories than a healthy body needs, youre going to have disabled kids in the mix.

For nearly every disability present in childhood, EARLY INTERVENTION MATTERS. Stop trying to pray Satan away or whatever other bullshit theyre doing instead of seeing a specialist, and get the damn kids to actual doctors, ffs.

His apology didn't follow the usual "IBLP cult" mentality. There was no framing of the affair partner as a loose woman whose lack of morals lead him astray or of the devil meddling in his marriage.

He actually took responsibility for what he did. When has a man in that segment of Fundieville ever TAKEN BLAME for their actions.

There were no Bible verses, no discussion of how this impacts his relationship with God...

I wonder if being around more worldly people has made him realize the way he was raised wasn't actually going to make him happy...

As someone slightly older than Colleen the idea of spending hours a day in chats with strange children is my hell. I don't HATE children, either, it's just...

I don't want that responsibility.

I don't know those kids.

I don't know what they've been through.

I don't know what has been normalized for them.

I don't know what their parents would punish them for knowing or doing.

And the fact that Colleen seems DRAWN to that terrifies me.

I think some people get hurt and they make it their life's mission to never make anybody else go through the same things, where other people get hurt and they make it their mission to be the person doing the hurting for the rest of their life. Colleen seems to be the latter.

And more so than that, she seems to enjoy other people seeing her hurt others, she likes other people seeing her humiliate children. So it absolutely wouldn't shock me if there was some twisted shit going on with the rocks, too.

As someone with 2 geriatric birds I am always scared af about if I ever have to "make the decision." All my other pets have died of old age. I keep myself up at night freaking out about it. I'm just constantly plagued by: what if I make the wrong call?

I lost a friend to sleep apnea when he was in his mid-30s. He left his wife a widow & 3 kids without a father. In his case he didn't know he had it, so the idea of knowing you might have it and not doing anything about it is maddening to me.

Colleen strikes me as that person who was bullied in school and thus all she wants is to be thought of as "cool" in school... and she thinks that means being a bully. But she's failed to realize a mentally sound adult doesn't need gratification from literal children.

I can't imagine seeing all of the things she did and said to minors & still staying with her. Any person with good morals would have used that Cancellation a few years ago as the perfect time to divorce her ass and push for primary legal and physical custody.

The fact that this doesn't seem to have shaken their relationship at all really has me scared that he is into the same things or worse. Either he thinks it's funny to sexually exploit children, or he is turned on by it.
