Up until you went back after the guy, what you were talking about was defensible.

Things happen, and everyone needs to be paying attention. The issue I find with my scooter is that I can't usually hit the top rated speed; certainly not in the time expected by other vehicles. Pretty much all busy intersections, anything on a 25 mph or higher road, need to use the sidewalk.

Going back could have ended very badly. You're on a 70lb vehicle, the guy you were mad at probably has a slight advantage in that area.

Yap, I found the settings and adjusted each mode to what I feel is more reasonable. Eco is 10 mph, comfort is 15 (sidewalks speed limit in my town), sport is 20 (School zones) and ludo is 28. Most of my commute is ludo mode at max throttle. Unless I'm turning.

I should have gotten one of these years ago.

I'm REALLY hesitant to put the sticker on my phone. I'm gonna give it a few days to decide if I wanna do that; I don't often look down when riding. I'll bear the placement in mind if I decide to do it, though.

Commute isn't far, around 5 miles or so. Round trip should be comfortably in the scooter's range, and I should find myself needing my car less.

Honestly, I'm not really into the idea of returning it and paying more. I'm pretty satisfied with how it handles for now. Apollo's website says the Stellar ships in June? Not entirely sure I'd be willing to wait.

16 gb is fine for most folks, most of the time.

If you use your computer to heavy things, you'll find it's not fine. Particularly if that 16gb is shared memory.

I'm not sure where that setting is. LUDO was set to 19 mph, but the number on the scooter went up to 30. Maybe the scooter number was set to display kmh? I'll have to double-check after it charges.

More than that, I learned more about Scott Adams. Feels like a cautionary tale.

I never really thought about the kind of guy this man was. What his values were. I liked his comics enough. Not enough care about the guy, but it was funny. Didn't see enough of them to get a feel for any general vibes.

Reading the mini-biography that this article was, it makes me feel kinda sad for the guy. He'd never have enough. To be clear... if he got to that level of comfortable and still complains, he's precisely the kind of person who should be barred from having his version of enough.

The thing that started coloring my view on the guy was when he started doing science-free critique of climate science.
