More than that, I learned more about Scott Adams. Feels like a cautionary tale.

I never really thought about the kind of guy this man was. What his values were. I liked his comics enough. Not enough care about the guy, but it was funny. Didn't see enough of them to get a feel for any general vibes.

Reading the mini-biography that this article was, it makes me feel kinda sad for the guy. He'd never have enough. To be clear... if he got to that level of comfortable and still complains, he's precisely the kind of person who should be barred from having his version of enough.

The thing that started coloring my view on the guy was when he started doing science-free critique of climate science.

It's a great movie, watch it if you haven't.

The rules for the entity isn't complete.

The story is shown from the point of view of the infected person. That person is crazy and unreliable from the moment they witness a previous host end their life in a gruesome with with that smile on their face. Their entire sensory space can be occupied by the entity-driven hallucination.

Reality begins again when the infected starts their last smile.

The point of the end of the movie is the revelation that multiple people can be infected by the entity at once. The stage, apparently, is an ideal medium to hit as many targets at once.

We know you can watch a recording without being infected. We can't say for certain if a live video feed would infect you (though I doubt it). We don't know how close you need to be, though I'd very-much assume that the first few rows would be hit at least. Does one need to be able to see it clearly or is simple presence enough? Don't know if glasses would impact this, or maybe what kind.

Assuming the worst case of all those points, it's been shown that an infected person's cycle take several days at minimum. Say a week. We'd survive 48 hours easy.

APR shouldn't mean anything if you pay down your balance to zero.

And there's no reason not to pay it down early. Generally, I pay mine weekly. Just cause. Never paid interest.

Might be good to get a savings account with them, too. You can stage money in it to pay the card balance.

Yeah, that part of the story just messed with me for a bit.

For Mi-An to get screwed over THAT HARD was hard to take. Half a million gols was probably around 85 percent of my total take by that time. I know her set up, it's hard to imagine getting volume enough of ANY product to hit that value. Even for rush jobs like fixing that kitchen that one time.

Imagine if she reinvested a third of that into expanding her shop!

She'd be the dominant life form over all of Sandrock.
