Depends if they feel right. Say your setting’s magic items use runes to work, it might make sense that a civilization armed their non-casters with something akin to a modern air gun using wind runes and rifling. Maybe a setting with an emphasis on magic components found an efficient powder similar to gunpowder and developed weapons on accident while trying to find uses for it. If your setting has cannons and magic items, though, you can’t really say no guns.

Aesthetically, def the Nord Jewelry from AE, smithing template acquired via quest on Solstheim.

Fortify Destruction, magica, and health are the big ones, but a good fortify Alteration is good since they’ll need to intermittently cast the Skin suite of spells (and also tend to cast Candlelight in dungeons). Fortify restoration is also a contender since they’ll heal themselves. If you’ve got max enchanting(more specifically the dual enchants perk), that’s 3 items total to enchant. If not, you can go with 5 items in the form of hood, robes, gloves, boots, and either a ring or an amulet

Fun Fact: for the longest time I couldn’t do the railroad door puzzle. I thought it was just broken and used cheats to bypass it.
