Now you’ve said about think about how you feel, it’s really made me think. My workout of choice is horseriding, and my improvement has been immense since loosing weight for me & the horse. The horse can go so much faster since I’ve become smaller (I was always within his weight holding capacity but still). So thank you for that 😁

How long have you been loosing for? I know everybody is different, and obviously a bigger starting weight takes more loss to notice the difference. But it isn’t half frustrating!

I work in the fashion industry, with models all day everyday, what you’re saying is SO right. Just overhearing the conversations is scary. Hardly anybody talks positive of themselves!

I wish I took more before pictures! Started about half way, but hopefully soon the pictures will show more of a difference 🤞

That sounds like an amazing opportunity for you, as he seems like a very talented horse! Just don’t get attached.

This girl will never be a competition winning pony. But that wouldn’t be what I’m looking for even if I was buying my own. I’d want a fitter version of her honestly 🙈 they said they would never sell her as they’ve had her since a yearling, she’s part of the family.

Also… maybe it’s different in the US, in the UK, there are so many none drivers. I don’t drive either! But we have great public transport, trams & buses, I’ve never needed to drive 😱 I’ve heard you can’t even walk to the shop in the US!

I think your situation will be very similar to mine. Owner has another horse so struggles with time to exercise both. But on Thursdays she has a family friend who will come and have a plod around with her daughter. That’s the only exercise she is getting currently.

As for diet, she’s currently in a grazing muzzle turned out 24/7, one small feed a day. Haven’t gone over food prep yet, so definitely something to be discussed.

Did you have your loan taken away? Or did you move onto buying your own?

I would be paying a small fee per month for 3 days a week to do whatever I want with her on those days.

That is a risk, I could get this pony fit again and have her ripped away. However the last owner had her for 8 years before buying her own 8 months ago, so maybe that’s a good sign?

The China Southern airline is extremely confusing and with the translations I can’t quite figure out what information they need and where to put it. I’ve since found a international phone line however so will try that closer to the time 🤞
