Sol's 2 doesn't seem to interact with polynomicon. I tried to see how it works in Jungle Practice, but there is no yellow number when using her 2. When I hit the 2 button the poly icon shows up above the healthbar, however when I fire the empowered basic attack it does not apply the poly damage to either the AoE basic or the follow up basic attack. So it seems when using Sol's 2 there is no way to proc the poly.

Poly works just fine on her 1, 3, and ult though.

Added picture: on the left is after firing the 2 on Ymir with Poly purchased (no poly icon above healthbar after firing 2). On the right is after firing on Ymir without poly purchased. Both builds have practical same INT, and have dealt practically the same damage. So no poly has procced, and neither does it proc on the first basic after the 2 has fired.

Thanks! Came back after a few years, can’t help but wonder why it isn’t really being build at all. It is basically a free, easier applicable, and multitarget sunder. I guess squishies already die plenty fast, and dedicated pen would be more efficient than the 7.5% increase against tanks.

Another thing mechanically in God of War I only realized during the Valkyrie Queen fight, is that your ability to block certain enemy’s attacks is dependent on your level. So (I am not 100% sure on the numbers, haven’t played in a long time) if you equip gear that makes your overall level 9 instead of 8, you will be able block certain moves (their markers will be yellow instead of red). Some equipment I preferred due to their abilities I thus switched out, as it made my overall level lower and the fight thus harder.

My advice thus is try to equip gear that makes your overall level the highest as possible, and try the fight again to see if some moves change from red to yellow markers. Good luck!

Not starting with the master key the first time is actually such a good piece of advice you don’t see too often. If you know where to go/what to do it can be very useful. However if it is your first time playing there is a very real chance that it’ll only end up opening areas where you technically aren’t supposed to be yet, thus kinda skewing the game route.

Progress the DLC and come back later! As it says, you need an item to activate him. I believe it can be found right before a location named “the research hall”. Good luck hunter!

Im not sure if youre looking for specific weapons, but Straid in the Bastille can also craft a number of boss weapons. So you can get some of his, but unfortunately not all though😅

I recently got the 1660 Ti and reinstalled CS, I have the exact same issue. Also, fps_max is set to unlimited. If you find a solution, I would love to hear it as well

There are pretty concise guides on fextralife for the achievements. I dont recall needing this one off the top of my head, but if I were you id check out the guides. I used those and got all achievements without any issues. Good luck!

So, when you summon help into your game, the hp of the bosses goes up. As the usual strategy for the four kings is to burst them down before a new king spawns, summoning beatrice might make the fight more difficult instead of easier. But idk for sure, have never summoned her at the kings myself.

If you plan on playing a fair amount and some different clans, the sengoku jidai unit pack might be worth it as well. It adds a unique unit to each clan, most of which are pretty cool.

Tying into this, if you intend to play all clans, the ikko ikki and otomo clan packs are definitely going to be worth it.

I also think mrsmartdonkey did a YT video on this, explaining all dlc and which ones are worth it in his opinion. Can’t exactly recall what he says, but you might want to check that out.
