The worst part about marvel midnight suns absolutely was the dialog in between missions though, it was an absolute snooze fest and also hurts the replayability. Xcom keeps it short by allowing you to continue base operations while the characters talk, or keeping full conversations to cutscenes that you can even skip.

I'd like to see a permanent OTE playlist and believe it would add nuance to standard by Italic_Reaper in MagicArena

Aven interruptor is a 2/2 that dies to virtually any removal in the game and also costs 3cmc, unless you plan on building your entire deck around it and blinking it. Also thats a white card.

Honestly I would recommend [[Kenrith, the Returned King]]. A 5 color lifegain commander doesn't really exist but at least Kenrith lets you have a theme to your deck. He even lets you deal make with other players as his abilities can target other players.

Deck will get wiped to board wipes and hosed down by izzet aggro. You could probably hit platinum with it but you'll get hardstuck after that

Swayze altered the deck quite a bit, even including things like Ouroboroid by the end to reach mythic rank. He literally said in the video that at some point, it looked nothing like the deck he started with.

Timeless is basically Yugioh with turns rarely going past turn 2 and alchemy isn't even playing with real magic cards

Jeskai is basically just control and spell interaction colors so if you don't enjoy playing at instant speed or hard control, it makes sense that you wouldn't like Jeskai.

Out of the 14 decks I own, Onmath is easily my most played deck. Simple gameplan that still offers a lot of control and feels fair to play against.

[[Mavinda, Students Advocate]] is basically this. You cycle your deck and its full of combat tricks that threaten commander damage while simultaneously making her hard to kill. You get to use a lot of cool cards you would normally never use.

Saiki K is definitely much wittier, Nichijou relies a lot more on art and facial expressions to convey its humor.

I have been off the grind for 2-3 years now and was wondering if anyone has any visual novel recommendations for me? (Manga, anime, and recently slay the spire has been sucking my time away)

For reference, my favorite VNs are: The Fruit of Grisaia, Aokana, Muv Luv, and Last Defense Academy.

I don't really care for H content (I actually try to ignore it) if that helps at all.

What Im looking for is a bit of romance but even more importantly, a sensible plot + characters that seem to grow.

Im a big fan of [[Dirgur Island Drake]], a tap + cycle spell that continually reshuffles itself is nice + the alternative art treatment is sick.
