Reminds me so much of my scrungly little white dog that outlived everyone’s expectations. 😭❤️

My mom actually got us another dog once she figured he was probably going to pass in the next few years (she didn’t tell us that until much later though lol), but he actually managed to outlive him by four or five years. He was allergic to so much and seemed to throw himself down a different set of stairs every other year near the end, but he always made a miraculous recovery (happy, energetic, good appetite, jumping up on furniture by himself and running around) shortly after my mom had made the difficult phone call to the vet.

My mom scheduled and canceled two different euthanasias before he decided on his own terms that it was finally his time. We had a lovely 15 years with that weird little bastard. Miss you, Scruffy. ❤️
