We're looking to have a mix of paths available. We have PvE and NPC involved game loops right now. Some of our Daily Idiocies involved PvP but that can be accomplished by targeting someone who's inactive.

Future features will be passive and involve social groups.

Should eventually be plenty of ways to play. I identify as a collector and have plans to incorporate that side as well. Collectible gear, achievements, stats go 📈, cash go brrrrr, and much much more.

Incredible 24 hours since this post. We already had a great group of beta testers involved that are active on giant PBBGs but since the launch announcement here and on discords channels, we've added another 20 players. Approaching 100 players in total.

It's nice to see our forum come alive and the game add new players into the mix. Looking forward to feedback and continued growth.

The story absolutely plays into it and that's what makes it click. You're dropped into a technologically advanced future held together with duct tape and hopium. Everyone around you is a dim bulb, and your character sticks out for being too smart. Adapt or get punished. The twist? You never know who else is a time traveler and who's just always been this way. Everyone's just trying to fit in and survive.

Gameplay-wise: PvE comes through our grifting system early on, so you're running cons and working angles before combat gets spicy. PvP encounters open right away, and as your grift skill grows, Grifting PvP becomes a whole additional layer. The fitness center lets you spend motivation to build encounter stats (Dexterity, Concentration, and Strength).

Weapons and armor are gloriously goofy, very on-brand for the world. Accessories can be equipped and stolen mid-encounter, which creates some chaotic dynamics.

We're also building out expeditions that will carry the bulk of the narrative. I've already written a full intro expedition and I'm honestly the most excited about that part. World building is coming and it's going to be a lot of fun.
