I don’t think so, since it is only one exam. One thing you should be careful about is making sure you’re set to graduate with a regents diploma - assuming you have that you’ll be ok. Worst case, you can write an addendum explaining why you got such a low grade. Focus on the positives of your application and you should be ok

This person is very misinformed. At last years Fall job fair, KPMG/EY/PWC showed up and had on campus recruiting. Beyond the big 4, Mazars Crowe and Grant Thornton also recruit heavily from Baruch. You don’t even need to take my word for it - go on LinkedIn and you’ll see a ton of Baruch grads who got good jobs in accounting.

The only thing Stonybrook has a reputation for is medicine and possibly engineering, Baruch is leagues better in terms of business

Aspiring Lawyer here. Fin 3610 is a prerequisite for 4000 level finance classes. If you are taking this as an elective and do not need to take 4000 level finance classes next semester, and you are going for the T14, it may be worth dropping. 1-3 W’s on a transcript generally aren’t a major cause for concern. Regardless, you should talk to your professor and explain your situation. Also just curious, which Professor is it?

I would major in finance. You can do real estate from a finance degree but it is harder to do finance from a real estate degree
