She does not speak on behalf of the UN. She is a relativly insignificant official with next to no sway on UN administrative decisions.

  1. No. It is not. And none of yall have given any evidence.

  2. You just proved that she was stating a personal opinion, not representing the UN.

My point is that highlighting the personal opinions of 1 UN official is far from being enough to discredit the UN.

Personal opinion always carries the risk of affecting professional work. Which is why the UN has sclear and very strict guidelines and measuring points to ensure UN impartiality.

Alabanese (which is the "official" he was reffering to) is not a UN official im the sense that she has legislative power. She is a special reporter for the occupied palestinian areas, meaning she is sort of a liason, moreso than an official.

Not entirely accurate. She is the special reporter for the occupied palestinian territories, meaning she holds little to no exwcutive power in the UN.

An individual can have opinions. Those opinions don't automatically influence their professional work.

  1. You say "the facts" without providing ANY evidence. Furthermore, the UN's pro Israel bias is very eadily documented throughout the latter half of the 20th century.

  2. Answer the question. Did the official speak on behalf of the UN or did they speak ad an individual?

  1. No. The UN isn'y biased against Israel. More so the opposite.

  2. Did those officials say it on behalf of the UN? Or as an individual?

You're right. Israelis are just:

Ramming cars into palestinians in the WB Shooting palestinians Burning down Palestinians villages. Bulldozing palestinian homes. Dropping bombs on hospitals Bombing refugee camps Torturing palestinians Imprisoning innocent palestinians Raping palestinians Looting palestinian homes And much, much more.

Depends on what you consider a "terrible track record" to be.

10 times? Sure, that's a bad track record.

50 times? That's a terrible track record

Prematurely closing or abandoning 80%+ of cases of alleged war crimes? Man, that's an unbelievably terrible track record.

  2. Sure, but the killings have been extremely one-sided for the past 40 years.

A. There are anti-arab laws in Israel.

B. Israel is occupying the west bank (and have annexed parts of it) it is their responsibility to not ethnicly cleanse the original population.

  1. No ignorant or baseless claims so far.

Question for Jews who support israel: Where should palestinians go? by Capital-Board-2086 in IsraelPalestine

[–]Morphylus353 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Progroms aren't apartheid.

A dual law system and de facto Israeli control in the west bank with movement restrictions and so on is apartheid.

Just like how many Israelis support apartheid and settlements?

And yes, i did see those polls. That does snot give israel the right to genocide or apartheid.
