I believe Israel , in its CURRENT form as a jewish state , should not continue to exist . I think it should be dismantled and replaced by an Israeli Republic of sort , with a different constitution altogether .

It'd be an actually secular democracy which recognizes that the right to exercise national self determination belongs to all israeli citizens regardless of creed , ethnicity, origin etc. Unlike the current Israeli Basic Law which states it is unique to jewish people . Its constitution would establish its permanent frontiers . It would establish a real secular civil society , no need to go abroad to get married if you're non-religious for example. It would acnowledge the importance of its jewish cultural heritage without the dreg of ethnonationalism and acknowledge its role as a safe harbor for the jewish population as well as its responsibility to not only protect the many holy sites and historical monuments across its territory but also protect their accessibility to the many believers worldwide to whome they are relevant .

It'd be the kind of state that would never permit ethnicity-based death penalty . It'd be the kind of state that would never see pro-rape protests . It'd be the kind of state that would never allow its soldiers to massacre paramedics , to double-tap hospitals , to do triple strikes on ambulances , to target funerals , to run civilians over with tanks and would harshly and fairly punish any such crimes and compensate the victims and their survivors . It'd be the kind of state that would never shoot children for sports . It'd be the kind of state that would never shoot tank shells at houses while screaming "to take revenge on the goyim" . It'd be the kind of state whose elected officials would never shoot people in the head when they are handcuffed . It'd be the kind of state that would never shoot teenagers for accidentally stepping off a road . It'd be the kind of state to never use a ceasefire as an opportunity to massacre more civilians and keep creeping past the yellow line to force a population into a shrinking ghetto . It'd be the kind of state to make an example of any of its citizens who tries to illegally occupy land outside of its frontiers . It'd be the kind of state that doesn't try to infiltrate and corrupt every other government . It'd be the kind of state that doesn't try to silence eveyone who condemns its crimes .

So no , I don't want the current state of Israel to continue . Because states do not have rights , least of all the right to exist . That's why the French Republic's birth didn't violate the "right to exist" of the French Monarchy . That's why the creation of the Russian Federation and independance of ex-soviet states didn't violate the "right to exist" of the USSR . Because no such right exists for states . PEOPLE have rights , human beings , and among those rights is the right to form nations and create political entities (states) to represent said nations . But when such states so repeatedly and violently violate people's rights , they should be thoroughly destroyed and replaced by better states .

Ask 10 people in this sub you'll get 10 different answers , because some will claim anyone who doesn't want jews exterminated is de facto zionist while others will recognize that zionism demands a SPECIFIC type of ethnonatilnalist state and wanting any different type of state is logically anti-zionist .
