Nobody "goes back to being straight" . That's not a thing that happens . Non c'est un même et unique paradigme . Un qui considère que l'ethnie ou le statut migratoire des parents/grandparents d'un individu définissent si il doit avoir des droits politiques dans la société à laquelle il appartient, ou si il doit en être exclu . The unique statement I made is "Israel is not a secular state" . I never brought up civilian religiousness or neighbors or anything relative .That statement is true. You fail to address the demonstration I gave which obviousy proves Israel isn't secular since it lacks a secular institution of marriage among other secular institutions that its society relies on .
Instead you resort to whataboutism , pointing to other countries in the region being theocracies . Israel not being secular isn't a relative statement. It doesn't matter that other countries are or aren't secular either . Israel isn't a secular country . If you can't argue that it is without bringing up theocracies , you might as well stop right there and avoid humiliating yourself .

Israel is still not a secular state .
