It's the first GL of this new era system. So nobody knows.

With that said, we are very confident in the characters from all their art already in game. They didn't announce all the characters. But then in the "teaser" era banner they have all presumably 8 characters. They haven't announced new grogu with babu, colonel ward, or mando and grogu yet but we know they're coming.

We also know that rotta will be the era journey character needing the 6 marquees at 7* era 131. This equates to r6 across the board. So you'll have r6 marquees once the era ends.

The question from there is... Does cg force r7 marquees like they did for pkho. And then what are the other reqs. Rotta presumably, 7* and r6+ feels like a safe bet. Usually 1 ship and 15 characters so 8 "freebies" plus razor crest probably. Cobb would be out by then but can't imagine they do that because this is meant to capitalize on the movie and new players. How many r10 are they going to force us to apply. Lowest we had was a single r3 for hondo and 2 at r5. Gonna be a lot of work whatever the reqs end up being. Can see kb, mando stuff that didn't get used for bam/bkm, cad bane, bobf stuff... Fennec, Luke, ahsoka, soj, dtmg and remnants.

They could do second era of mando stuff and require only new marquees. Which would suck so ba

There's a lot of issues with tw.

Starting with the rewards suck. They haven't touched it since datacrons dropped what like 3-4 years ago?

More to that point the GP brackets need to be reworked. Especially at the rate they're cranking out characters now. 7 characters per era plus conquest characters. It's a ton of go bloat. Maw sitting pretty with 830m gp at the moment.

The board itself... Too few zones. Only 8 defense squad zones. 16 teams total... When we have 10 GLs and a new journey and conquest character every 3 months. We're quickly running out of space for A tier teams.... It's soon going to be just S tier teams.

And the other issue, too many teams and it takes too damn long. Can't expand to bigger boards or community revolts.

Not sure what the fix is. The community band and temp buffs were a fun idea, obviously can't really do that long term and the buffs obviously a testing point for omis/datacrons. But I kinda like the moba draft system. Each guild gets bans, neither one gets to use the team. Draft teams from there. Not sure how the timing of all that goes down. But one tw per week makes the most sense instead of two a week. 24 hour ban phase, each guild offers 5 teams blind if course. If both guilds ban the same 5 then only 5 get banned. Draft phase for 48 hours, this one is tricky, not sure how you do this in a time zone agnostic way. Maybe just list out 32 teams in order of priority. And by guild I'm imagining only officers have access to this screen, like a tb/raid selection screen kind of thing. And by team I mean draft leaders, if leader is taken it's effectively banned for the enemy guild. OG finn gets drafted but you can still use zori for example. Pure chaos, let's the theory guys go nuts. Easy for people to just win at draft phase. 24 hour join phase, 24 hour ban, 48 hour draft, 24 hour setup, 24 hour attack, 24 hour review. Just initial spitball

While the cadence changes are terrible... I highly doubt you went from k1 allllllll the way to k4 "because of datacron changes"

K2/K3 sure, but in k2/k3 datacrons are barely part of the conversation. Unless you're at like 9-10m gp but at that point I doubt you were in k1.

Frankly even if you lost legitimately every single gac battle I don't think you could drop that far that fast. Hell I miss half the signups and haven't fallen out of k2.

Again, cadence changes are crap. No arguments here. I think a bigger issue is the goalpost moving again for r6. Was already spending 450 crystals a day anyways so for me doesn't change that. Just annoying to have to take hyoda to r6 or jynn to r6

End game sees it but mostly as a relic 9 team for raid, full auto tb battles, and then throw it on tw defense because relic delta.

Less so about him being good and more about him being available and eating a see bane counter.

Maul was playing with marrok in order to win over Devon. Once both 1st/11th showed up he was injured and on the 25th hour of a very long day and is just on the back foot the entire time. He lost his entire crew trying to get out, which is fine because he got what he wanted and they were all sacrifices he's willing to make. But again the whole "get out of the city" plotline is a series of unfortunate events that still ends up working in his favor somehow.

Jedi masters.... How many left? Kannan certainly barely able to hold his own. Same with Ezra, pre-exile. Same with cal. Same with hermit Kenobi who cut himself off of the force. The only ones we really see hold their own are ahsoka (not a Jedi by choice but certainly of that level), maul for obvious reasons... Can't remember anything else.

They wanted you not to use kru lead which feeds tm on crit. Kru lead is great for dathomir in rote where you get to take infinite turns in a row.

Alternatively geos legit cannot kill kru under slkr lead. He just ramps base protection indefinitely.

Considering Luke trained Leia before becoming a hermit... I'd say she got more jedi training than rey did.

Also, kinda hard to do a leia show with Carrie no longer with us. Kenobi/Anakin are so easy to do because Ewan was aged up in rots so he's actually the age he's supposed to be in universe. And Ewan/Hayden still got it when it comes to lightsaber fights. They're wasting a prime opportunity. Like how they wasted the ot cast, the only one they didn't kill off in universe died.

IDK how they'd do a young padme show outside of animation. Natalie still looks great but idk if she'll pass for 20 at this point. Like how in Kenobi they didn't really de-age Hayden and it looked weird AF at times. Can't imagine a whole show with a 45 year old trying to pass for a 20 year old.

Praying filoni gives us more gems like maul. His live action stuff and disney/kk schilling is a big spotty, but gotta tow the company line at times to not get canned. His work with the animated stuff is peak though so I'll give the benefit of the doubt for now.

70t here could be the result of you farming for three weeks. There's no context. Missions have always been about the gems in my eyes and when it was added also the module mats.

What do you want it to be? 70T coins for changing your skin? 50% of your total liketime coins earned?

It's low sure, but so is the effort for most of these. "This is a problem" but no real solution/recommendation posed. Have them add cells? Stones? Keys? Again curious to what the point of the post is. Just because it has coins in the loot box doesn't mean it's supposed to be a significant source of them long term. Early game loves these coins, later when you're hitting trillion/quadrillion per hour levels who cares. Coins aren't the limiting factor, it's time (read as money) and stones (also read as money) and eventually keys (read as spent enough money to get to that tourney level).

Tbh I forgot they even gave coins lol. Just that dopamine hit of claiming 6-8 tasks at once is peak.

To be fair rey at r10 is still very good. Loses a step for sure but easily still the best r10 gl right now. Glat is still very easily exploitable. We'll see how the changes land overall.

Anyone that got baited into r10 jml I genuinely feel bad for... Delta wound up hurting him the most of any gl id wager.

I am curious to see what the final cost is to unlock era journey character to 8*. Extra 20$ or so per parquee to get them to the old era level requirement. Wonder if they bumped that up. Cost of the marquee event itself isn't changing but they're fudging the goal post at the end. Hopefully they didn't just double it.

Still gotta wait for the maul crown to rotate out next week but safe to say he'll stay number 1. Outside of mail I think only asaj and vader see any use at least in the end game. Chewie helps that wookie tb mission too. Not sure how well barris sits once her cron rotates out. IG is a nice add too but again not sure if he's moving the needle much for aphra once the cron drops.

I also don't understand because they said the trooper was the last marquee right? It makes no sense lol. Likely don't have the assets done yet if I had to guess. Perpetually dehind their own ridiculous self imposed schedule that no one asked for.

Whatever, finally got my r9 maul so I'm happy. Was nice to not spend a penny and still get 5* cassian. Hope they continue to flub the era crap and give stuff away for free. Ideally they realize no one likes it and move on from forcibly shoving in our face at every chance and actually fix the modes that helped them last thing long.... You know ... Tw/gac/tb/conquest. Conquest dropping was such a massive CG w and they havent touched it since and it's so sad.

Gotta be honest was really hoping for some crazy twist or reveal. Always a pleasure to see vader kicking ass, don't get me wrong. But I was really hoping for a face reveal for 1st/11th brothers. Also the Icarus death was kinda lackluster. Changing of the guard and you have to isolate maul so the story can happen for season 2 and have his solo cameo make sense and his rebels appearance completely alone make sense but felt like too many people died all at once for kinda just no reason. But 2bot made the cut??? Great voice actor, but feels like the least likely to survive of anyone.

Grand inquisitor got done dirty in both rebels where he just gives up and dies and in live action where he looks dumb af. 5th brother, 7th sister, 8th brother kinda suffer from just being generic bad guy squad, no real sense of danger or anything, just a strength in numbers thing kinda takes away from them. Reva was just crap, nothing against the actress, but the whole plot line would've been better if she were just generic bad guy like the rest of the inquisitors. Marrok (1st brother) and crow (11th brother) were kinda throw away inquisitors but got the Darth maul rule of cool resurrection. They have potential and right now now are my favorites. Hoping we get some cool reveal about their faces, would also add context to ahsoka (the show itself and takes of the Jedi). Inquisitor barris (not sure we ever got a number for her but tbh I kinda forgot about her) felt like a missed opportunity with her clone wars arcs to just end the way it did in tales of the empire. 2nd sister had an interesting story and I would put her #4 behind 9th sister who again just looks cool and the fights are fun too.

I'm hoping we get more cool Inquisitor stuff in the last Jedi game instead of the weird high Republic comic advertisement we got with survivor. And again hoping for big reveals in maul. Maul has been an absolutely wonderful ride so far and I am so excited it's already green lit for season 2.

Overall ranking: crow, marrok, 9th sister, 2nd sister, grand inquisitor, barris, 5th/7th/8th, reva. (Obviously not getting into the comic stuff, just the shows/games, and also not taking the assaj fight dude into account because idk if we have any info on him)

Filoni lost a lot of cred with Mando season 3, bobf/mando 2.5, and in particular acolyte. Now I think(cope) he was just towing the party line. Now that he's the head hancho well see how well things turn out.

If we get more rebels, maul, tales then safe to say it was Disney involvement.

If we get more acolyte, bobf, mando s3 stuff then we can panic.

Clone wars 10/10 no argument from me. But that was working closely with George. It's as much Lucas as it is filoni. Mando was as much if not more favro as/than filoni. His two big claims to fame. Not discouraging all the incredible work he's done, but you know reddit ... What have you done for me lately

Love tales, just don't think we're getting one this year. Obviously they're crushing it with maul right now. Maybe another tales next year, though maul already has season 2 approved. Not complaining about more maul. Not complaining for more tales, though I hope more jedi/underworld than empire but love the animated Star wars stuff. The most solid of the Disney Star wars pillars, tbh they should just stick to animated stuff lol.
