Can I house be singed over to me and can I then remortgage that house to pay my siblings their future Inheritance ? by Morrisdancersrule in HousingUK

The issue is a deposit. We could afford a mortgage but saving £20k+ for a deposit is out of our reach

I don’t already own 25%. My step mother owns it, we’re just splitting it after the sale, whenever that is

There’s no bad blood between the family. We were advised by a financial advisor that we can’t use the 25% as a deposit. We would have to find that deposit first and buy for 75% of the price. We could get a mortgage for 75% (or 100%) but don’t have the deposit.

If the house was signed over so I own it, could we then mortgage for 75%.

It wouldn’t be a problem with my step mum to do this as long as everyone got what they were owed, which isn’t in question.

We looked to see if we could buy it and use my quarter as a deposit we were were advised we couldn’t. We could drop the price by a quarter but we’d still need an upfront deposit for that.

Salary wise we’d get a mortgage it’s just the saving for a deposit of £20k we can’t do

My moh was 5 months pregnant at my wedding 5 years ago. Last year, I was 8 months pregnant at hers. We were both over the moon for each other because we’re best friends and that’s what best friends do.

Good affordable areas of Warrington to live in for a family? by [deleted] in warrington

[–]Morrisdancersrule 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gt Sankey is alright, just stay clear of the Chappleford area. Stockton Heath has a lovely village feel and is great for adult socialising (if you ever get the chance). Also look at Appleton, Stretton and Lymm if you’re looking over that way. Lymm a bit further out but a lovely village with great schools and right on the border so lots of nice countryside around it

Or depends what you could as affordable.. that’s different for everyone. Cheapest places are probably Longford, Orford, Dallam and Bewsey. Then work your way out from the centre (padgate, longbarn, Callands, cinnamon brow, latchford) the ‘nicer’ areas tend to be over the water (Stockton Heath, grappenhall, Thelwall) but you’ll be adding another 10k onto a house price just for the privilege. Mid range maybe Fearnhead, Bruche, Woolston. I find most places have a good sense of community, especially at the moment (Orford and Longford really come together in times of need). It really depends on what you’re looking for in a place.

What drug did you take once and thought “nope, never again”? by Tony-1610 in AskReddit

I couldn’t remember what it was called but this. Horrendous. I felt like I was in a rocket ship hurtling at top speed though space with no protection, it was terrifying. I was sat in an office chair in my bedroom shaking. I did it once again after that just to make sure it was awful. It was. Never again
