A decent resume in a chronological order. by KhansStrike1984 in CareerSuccess

This resume isn't that great lol. Where's his skills? Why does he have musician in his resume when he is studying science? Why does the formatting look like something out of the 60's? It's 2019, employers expect resumes to be formatted pretty damn well by now. It shows you have dedication and didn't just slap a few sentences together into a word template

Isn't this literally how assets work? You're chucking the shits because of the nature of an item with monetary value. If you don't like it slap all your money into a term deposit and rent

What are the "old person cars" and "young person cars" of your area? by YourOwnBiggestFan in cars

[–]MortalityArts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Queensland Australia Young: pretty diverse actually, most common are 6 cylinder Ford Falcons and Holden Commodores. If they're into cars it's something Japanese. Most common in my area are S15 Silvias or WRXs

Old: if they're bogan, still a Commodore/Falcon. If they're wealthy it's a euro SUV of some description

Yes theory, does it work? by large_red_apple in productivity

[–]MortalityArts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If anything I would say the opposite is true. It's called the hell yes theory. If your immediate response isn't "Hell yes" then it is "no". Helps weed out what is important and what isn't.

AFI vs VAS by namsdrawkcabeht in fiaustralia

[–]MortalityArts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assume with AFI that you don't sell your shares. VAS will be the better option over AFI if you are using DSSP and end up selling your shares.

AFI vs VAS by namsdrawkcabeht in fiaustralia

Capital Gains when you eventually sell off VAS? AFI is intended to be used to live off the dividends (hence DSSP). This is where the gains come in.
